Tales of Arise is celebrating its first anniversary — it launched for PS5 and PS4 on the 10th September, 2021 — by releasing its official soundtrack on music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. While we don't think Arise has the greatest Tales soundtrack, it's still packed with dramatic orchestral arrangements and rousing themes. It's a good one.
It doesn't seem as though anything else is planned for the anniversary, although Bandai Namco has confirmed that it'll be hosting a Tales exhibit at Tokyo Game Show later this month. Some kind of series announcement may be on the cards.
Anyway, do you have fond memories from Tales of Arise? Reignite your blazing blade in the comments section below.

I didn't care for the demo but I can't deny the music was pretty awesome!
Disappointed that the tagline isn’t Stars in Arise.
Give it to us in Extra pretty pleeeease???
It's been 1 year already?
@nessisonett That's a good one, but I must admit 'Stars in Arise' makes my brain flinch. Not sure why. Stars in Arise. Too many a's and r's and s's maybe.
I can't wait for the supposed anime adaption of this, same with Nier automata.
@ShogunRok Too many…. Arses?
Seems like yesterday. Loved the game - on the Spotify playlist for sure
the Tales or Arise-ing of the Tales series (and not that the old style anime style wasn't great) is exactly what Star Ocean needs to do, or should've done with their upcoming newest entry, and I dont mean just copying what ToA did but just changing up the aesthetic of it all.
That aside, I loved Tales of Arise.
Whooaa-oohh-ohhh-whooaahh-ohh.

Man this was such a bad game. This was the last game that I really wanted to like, as I stepped out of my comfort zone and just dove in.
It was literally nothing more than a really cheesy, anime. The combat was terrible and simple, and the level design was extremely linear, and half-baked; circa ps2. It was all essentially afterthoughts to the long-drawn-out anime cut scenes, where even stopping at a campfire likely would produce some long terribly acted toon scene.
I can stomach JRPGS and that genre if the gameplay is good, but man was this bad and I am still shocked at its positive reviews. This was genuinely the worst "ARpg" I have ever played and the worst game I have played in recent memory.
@nessisonett I didn't want to say it.
As much as I loved Arise, I don't remember the ost being that particularly amazing. I still remember the great battle theme and a few overworld themes but that's about it. And both opening songs were some of the weakest in the series
One of the pieces on this game sounds like the Back to the future theme. Think it's near where you board the spaceship
Oh I have very fond memories of Tales of Arise! I love that game, had a very Final Fantasy 13 vibe about it, a game I also really enjoyed! Part of me was hoping for Story dlc.
@KundaliniRising333 Welcome to Tales games since Graces. They are overhyped mediocre games.
I say that as a fan of the series until they changed it. Symphonia, Vesperia, Abyss? All still awesome.
I can't get into "modern" Tales. They are terribly cliché and uninspired. The wet noodles combat as i like to call it has no impact. A shame. But, after playing the demo i knew it was gonna be more of the same.
I really liked TOA. In my opinion it's the best Tales game since Vesperia.
I also really enjoyed the soundtrack. I'll be giving this a listen!
@rachetmarvel I'd def watch a Tales of Arise anime, without a doubt.
