Deadpool Is Demanding to Be in Marvel's Midnight Suns, in Typically Meta Fashion

Everybody's favourite "merc with a mouth" wants to be in Marvel's Midnight Suns, apparently. The fourth-wall-breaking antihero Deadpool has taken over the game's social media accounts, indicating that could be coming to the turn-based tactical RPG.

A series of Tweets promoting the character's many skills (which include both swordsmanship and cooking, amongst other things) strongly implies that official confirmation of the character's inclusion is incoming; either that or it's some kind of really weird in-joke. With Deadpool, you just never know.

Would you be excited to see Deadpool join Marvel's Midnight Suns roster alongside lesser superheroes such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Wolverine? Crack wise in the comments section below.

Love Deadpool. I hope Disney doesn't ruin him like they slowly have with so many of the Marvel roster. Knowing how much of a labour of love Deapool is to Ryan Renolds, and how it took him over 10 years fighting to get the first Deadpool film made (after the travesty of the version in the Wolverine film) I'm confident Ryan won't let it happen whilst he has anything to do with it. And no Ryan, no Deadpool. Who else could play it? Any ideas?

There is no need for Deadpool and Iron Man even to be in this game about fighting mythical monsters and demons. Should have just kept it to Strange, Ghost Rider, Magik, Elsa Bloodstone and a few more. I get Deadpool and Iron Man are super popular and could help the game sell but I'd rather just see the actual teams from the comics.

That's actually pretty funny. I'm not conviced about this game after the card system was shown, but I'm keeping my eye on it.

@WallyWest I can confirm that is Nolan North, I've replayed the Deadpool game so much I can tell him apart from Ryan Reynolds.

@Eagly @riceNpea You guys are both correct, Deadpool is being voiced by Nolan North, the voice actor for Nathan Drake (Uncharted) and Desmond Miles (Assassin's Creed).

You guys should check out the Deadpool PS4 game, it's very faithful and accurate (Nolan also voices Deadpool there).

Honestly I love Nolan's performance of Deadpool just as much as I do Ryan Reynolds.

@Legacy2K That’s exactly how I feel. It’s a bit tiring seeing heroes like Blade, Magik, Nico Minoru etc be undercut by, and I mean this in the least derogatory way possible as I still do love most of these characters, the same straight white dudes that have been in the majority of Marvel media.
