There’s no stopping Sony once it puts its marketing muscle behind a project, and God of War Ragnarok looks like it’ll receive the bulk of the manufacturer’s marketing budget this holiday. Kratos’ sophomore sojourn through Norse mythology has already taken over Twitter, and now the sequel has infiltrated Mumbai’s metro.
These photographs, originally shared on Reddit, show a complete takeover of an entire train. In addition to a wraparound livery, the inside even has promotional posters and PS5-branded hand holds. It’s not the first time the manufacturer has taken over a subway – it did something similar for Marvel’s Spider-Man in New York City – but Indian gamers have pointed to the significance of this in their country.
Expect many more promotions like this all around the world as the game nears release in November. You’re not going to be able to move without seeing Kratos pretty soon.
