Famed violinist and master maestro Lindsey Stirling has lent her talents to an official A Plague Tale: Requiem music video, and the results are fantastic. Her particular style lends itself well to the game's 14th-century setting and its central theme, initially composed by Olivier Derivière.
Stirling has gained well-deserved recognition for her high-energy, elaborate performances and is no stranger to the world of video games either, performing numerous covers and medleys and even having recently gotten her very own music pack DLC in VR title Synth Riders.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is set to launch in just a few short days and will be available on PS5 on 18th October. The game looks great, and we can't wait to dive in. What do you think of Lindsey Stirling's performance, and are you looking forward to overcoming nightmarish hordes of rats when this one goes live? Face your fears in the comments section below.

Very evocative. Nice to see talent from other creative industries contributing to a game.
It certainly makes me keen to play the game, though I thought the dramatic shots of her in this video look a bit weird and would have preferred just game shots with the artist doing her own thing.
I'm very pleased for the devs, who are once again demonstrating that a team can still make its own tech and come up with results that rival the big boys.
Lindsey Stirling is such a great performer. I also absolutely loved her version of the Tales of Arise battle theme. The emotion she puts into her performances in both musical and movement ways are very good. Also i can't wait to play this game in just a few days
I was already very pumped for Requiem before. But they decided to add Lindsey Sterling to the mix? It sent chills down my spine listening to this! Now I'm even more excited somehow! Excellent as always from Lindsey and bring on next week for Requiem!
In a time when the definition of music has bn redefined to incorporate rhythmic emissions from one's anus this is refreshing.

How is the new album from Annus Erupticus?
I'm sure I heard them live once, but I was standing outside a public convenience at the time....
I really like Lindsey Stirling. She seems to be a wonderful musician but the way she gets into these roles and makes it a performance is really awesome. Not many classical musicians that are also in tune with gaming culture. I discovered her initially back when I was obsessed with the Skyrim soundtrack.
This video is more tame but it’s really fun when she’s dancing and twirling while playing the violin.
Very cool. My eldest loves Lindsey Sterling and she's now old enough to start playing these more intense games.
I really like her, her cover of Dragon Age Inquisition's theme is really awesome, but somehow the way she flails around while playing irks me to no end...
She’s one of my favorite musicians, I had no idea she was attached to this! Here I was thinking I couldn’t possibly get more excited for this game.
Always a pleasure to hear Stirlings' music.❤️
