CD Projekt Red has always leaned into the edginess and bleeding-cool aesthetic of CyberPunk 2077, something that the recently released (and really good) Edgerunners anime on Netflix embraced with open arms.
Well, now the developer has announced that an official tie-in novel is coming, which might be the edgiest, coolest thing the series has attempted yet. It's called No Coincidence, is being written by Rafał Kosik, and will follow a group of strangers as they brave the mean streets of Night City. Details are pretty scarce outside of that, although we did get a cover reveal.
Video game tie-in novels are generally a mixed bag, and that's putting things mildly. We will reserve judgement until we get our hands on the thing, but outside of Bioshock: Rapture (which serves as a prequel to Bioshock and is actually pretty decent), most really fail to impress.
What do you think of CDPR's foray into the world of literary delights? Would you read a book set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077? Write a short novella in the comments section below.

The novel will probably release with bugs and a lot of ripped pages.
@Westernwolf4 and ray traced reflections on a chrome cover
I'm actually interested in this, I love reading, please remind us when it's out PS team!
Anything and everything cyperpunk come at me! Good to see the genre back swinging after the resurging success of the game
Mass Effect has some pretty good novels too. Hopefully this one is good too. I like the cover at least!
There are some tie-in comics already. The last one was quite good. I hope they release a localized brazilian version of this novel.
Shame it's not a graphic novel, I'm too used to comic books now lol.
@freddquadros I have those Cyberpunk comics in my Saved for Later at Amazon.
As soon as I finally play the game and beat the story, I'll buy them.
