After much speculation and rumours – including a complete rebranding of the franchise’s social media pages – the next Need for Speed will finally be revealed this week, on 6th October. The video, which will premiere on YouTube, is already listed – and you can park your browser in anticipation if you’re that way inclined.
Publisher EA is really dragging out the reveal of this release, but word is the racer could hit the starting line as early as 2nd December, 2022 – meaning there’ll be about two months between this trailer dropping and the game hitting store shelves. We’ll of course share all the news as soon as we have it – in the meantime, you can admire the game’s logo courtesy of the thumbnail above.

Well I’m excited so let’s wait and see then.
I'm not getting the anime cartooniness from that splash screen so fingers crossed they've ditched all that nonsense.
Mind you let's be honest I'm going to be there day one regardless, it's cars innit.
FINALLY! I'm so ready to be hurt again!
@Anke Yeah we get it, you've said this on every single article for the New Need For Speed.
Watch this end up being a live-service game lol
@HotGoomba twice, yeah apologies for that.
Forgive my excitement for one of my favourite franchises.
Hope I can still put some anime skins on my rides. Wouldn't really be nfs without it tbf
I wish Ghost stayed on, Heat was amazingly fun to play.
If it isn't Underground, I don't care.
@brazzios_84 And if it isn't a classic as 1994-2002 era, also, I don't care.
Well, just kidding, really I hope for a new version that resembles that era, but well, is my wish; well, let's see that kind of NFS will be this year, what is the surprise.
