Arc System Works has shared an updated development roadmap for Guilty Gear Strive, which puts more defined release windows on future updates as well as the remaining Season 2 DLC characters.
With new fighter Sin Kiske having only just released last week, the game's next update drops in December. This is when cross-play functionality is being added (allowing PlayStation users to match up with players on PC), and it's arriving alongside a network update and a balance patch. It's safe to say that the holidays are going to be a big deal for Strive fans.
Looking into the new year, the next DLC character — whose identity remains unknown — lands in March. And then, Season 2's final DLC fighter is set for May. That seems like quite the wait, but at least we have a better idea of when to expect all of these updates.
Of course, 2023 is primed to be a busy year for fighting games. Street Fighter 6 is expected to launch at some point in the first half of the year, so Guilty Gear Strive is going to have some fierce competition when it comes to keeping players' attention.
Are you still playing Guilty Gear Strive? Are these DLC characters releasing too late? What do you want from a balance patch? Beg for some buffs in the comments section below.

The lack of single player content meant I only played constantly till I completed arcade mode with every character. Now I just boot it up once in a while. I still play Injustice 2 and MK11 regularly. I hope SF6 has a heavily single player aspect.
@z0d15g0d mk11 single player lasts you that long ?
This game needs more characters faster imo.
@nomither6 Towers are always renewing so lots of stuff to unlock. Same with injustice. I complete towers based on the rewards so some characters I rarely use still have lots of content to unlock.
