The release of Gungrave G.O.R.E is right around the corner, with the grimdark third-person shooter set to drown the world in bullets on 22nd November PS5 and PS4. We got an overview trailer showing off the game's plot, setting, and stylish brand of explosive action.
G.O.R.E represents the latest chapter in the ongoing Gungrave saga, which was popularized by the iconic anime series of the same name. Unliving anti-hero protagonist "Beyond the Grave" AKA Brandon Heat, has been resurrected once more to bring down another criminal empire in suitably apocalyptic style.
Gungrave G.O.R.E, even for those of us new to the franchise, looks like a fun and pulpy shooter with cool character artwork, which should come as no surprise considering everyone's favourite artist Ikumi Nakamura had a hand in their design.

Game looks cool but I admit to never playing the originals. Il give it a shot
Main character already looked goofy but that big I guess gun hanging off him is just stupid looking and would bug me during a playthrough lol.
I have both PS2 originals but barely played them. This looks like a fun B-tier game like Onechanbara and Devil's Third, and it's bargain-priced too. I'll probably get it at first price drop. Hope the voice acting is equally campy, because this trailer completely skipped that aspect.
I don't wish economic hard times on any developer because they have developed a game that nobody wants, but this looks completely forgettable and necessarily avoidable.
It's a game that belongs back in the early 2000s when we all had nothing better to play. Thing is.... now we do - in droves.
@Party_Cannon I kind of have a thing for b-tier, campy kusoge, especially from Japan (or Korea in this case). I really don't think this will sell well, but it will reach a specific niche audience for sure.
Can’t believe this is coming out the same day as Evil West 🙄
@Nightcrawler71 that’s the same issue I have. I’m stoked for the b tier schlock of this game, but really love the visual treat that is Evil West. So I’ll have to wait on one for a bit.
@ErrantRob @Nightcrawler71 I'll be waiting for sales on both games, just spent hundreds of dollars on comics/graphic novels so need to wait and save up more funds.
Especially with Black Friday and Christmas sales around the corner, plus two games I'm eager to play in December (Callisto and Crisis Core FF7).
@KaijuKaiser the original games and anime yes. this one is Korean made. no problem with it, just being precise.
