Hogwarts Legacy is rapidly shaping up to be one of 2023's heavy hitters, regardless of whether you are a die-hard Potter fan or not. We recently got more than 45 minutes of PS5 gameplay, and, if you will excuse the pun, the game looks like pure magic. If that wasn't enough to quicken your pulse, the complete Trophy list for the game is now available, several months ahead of its 10th February launch.
The veteran guide masters over at Powerpyx have revealed the full list based on the already live Epic Games Store PC achievements, and as such, it's worth noting that some trophy values could change when the PS5 and PS4 versions of the game launch.
Out of the utmost respect for any potential spoilers, we have jumped on this particular grenade for you and can tell you that the Trophy list itself is fairly in line with what you would expect from a modern open-world game. Expect to complete the game's story, poke around for a plethora of collectables, and engage in all kinds of side content to earn that sweet, sweet Platinum. The truly dedicated Trophy Hunters can check out the full list for themselves here, but beware, you have been adequately warned.
Are you excited by the prospect of Hogwarts Legacy's Platinum Trophy? If you were willing to take a gander for yourself, what do you think of the list? Remain vague and avoid spoilers in the comments section below.

I’m 100% going for the plat, if it’s anything like other Warner Bros games like the Middle Earth games, this should be a pretty standard fair for us trophy hunters.
I'm always worried about spoilers so I will ask anyone willing to look...does difficulty effect the trophies in this game?
Good! I hope it makes you do everything in the game to get the platinum.
@Clogalis Doesn’t look like any difficulty trophies but there is a chance you will need to do multiple playthroughs
OK, so those 4 trophies for doing a certain thing as each house are worrisome. Hopefully this is close to the beginning, or you are about to change house at will.
Thinking about it, introduction to this place is likely close to the beginning.
Not overly keen on full completion lists, prefer trophy campaigns that have you doing certain out of the ordinary things, too, only a couple of basic such things here. Should still be fun though, and encourage the game to be played fully.
I've pretty much given up on trophies. Used to collect them avidly when they meant something. But these days, for inclusivity reasons, they're barely linked to anything challenging. The final straw for me was Stray. In a time that electricity prices are sky rocketing and there are some poor people who can barely afford it, some bright spark decided it'd be a good idea to create a trophy where you put your controller aside and don't play for an hour. I'm a gamer, I don't want to put down my controller at the best of times.
I would call myself a trophy hunter in that I am slightly addicted to that "ping!" sound of the trophy and they definitely add replay value.
But I am absolutely not a fan of any trophy that requires me to pay with my life. Final Fantasy X HD has a doozy of an example where you have to completely level up all seven characters. You would have to play for two hundred hours easily.
Like I wasn't already planning to explore the entirety of Hogwarts AND the surrounding areas outside of Hogwarts anyway
@Eldritch - The reason is because we live in a day and age where society believes everyone needs to feel like a winner. When I was young, if you weren't given an award, it meant you didn't work hard enough to earn it, so you would push yourself and work harder until you earned that award, but nowadays they practically hand out awards like candy because of this 'Everyone is a Winner' mentality.
I mean you see just how many people complain about games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro etc. not having a difficulty mode? People always use the same excuse that "Every game should have a Difficulty Mode because it means more people can/will play their games", instead of just accepting the fact that these games weren't made for them. If I played a difficult game in my day and I couldn't beat it, then I would need to get better OR accept I couldn't beat it and simply move on to a different game. There will always be people who can't seem to understand that there are certain games made for certain gamers.
If this is even half as good as the Mad Max game, it'll be excellent. I don't care about all the drama, I'll take a good Potter game any day!
@JustPlainLoco I don't disagree, but it's also kind of funny because I started gaming in the SNES/Genesis days and I remember Atari and Commodore players telling me how easy my games are.
Dyson or Shark?
I honestly don’t mind a classic Henry or James vacuum myself.
So you character needs to be a member of a certain house, in order to achieve certain things?
Does this mean that in order to Platinum this game, you should need to complete four different play throughs?
Students are “sorted into their houses” according to their traits and personality, anyway. (At least, according to the books).
What I mean is, that even if you are required to play through the game four times, each one ought to be a different experience.
I feel like I would want to play this lots of times, anyway.
Day 1 purchase. Super hyped!
@Matthewnh
As it’s about being sorted into a house and finding a map room…I’m thinking it’ll be early in the game anyway, so no more full playthroughs involved. I hope anyway.
@JustPlainLoco Exactly. Or, to put it in even simpler terms, it was a challenge. And that's what I liked. The challenge and then being able to show off that platinum for having taken on the challenge and beaten it. Now, most platinums mean you had the time to scour every inch of the map/collectibles guide or worse still, place your controller aside and go do something else.
I've got just over 160 platinums but doubt that figure will increase much now.
If I pick it up, I'll be picking it up second hand
The voice acting and animations on NPCs have me worried (the dialogue in general, but it's victorian era so I guess we can excuse it being a bit stilted) but I'd play this even if it was an absolute turd cos I love harry potter games. The environments are also gorgeous, they've made Hogwarts look absolutely stunning.
@Mintie
I buy most games second hand these days, as I’m so far behind in my backlog, but this is going to be one of the very few games I definitely get at launch. Helps that the wife really wants to play it too.
Cool word up son
Looks like I'll need to play the game four times as each class to complete plat. Not what I had in mind but okay.
Well I’m really psyched, and I just hope that Rowling manages to stfu between now and the release! ⏲
@NomNom @thefourfoldroot1 @Matthewnh @GorosBat @Ken_Kaniff Hopefully we won't be actually forced to play thru the game 4 different times for the platinum, I really don't care for games that add extra time by doing that.
@KidBoruto I went through trophies list, at least 1 trophy tied to each house (4 in all)
@KidBoruto I agree. One playthrough of a big open world game is enough for me.
@WadeIsInsane @NomNom That doesn't mean it was to be 4 complete playthroughs though. The trophy could unlock immediately after your house is chosen.
@Ken_Kaniff Exactly this. I don't have time to replay games anymore.
@WadeIsInsane Hopefully so. I may make an exception to my no New Game+/playthrough rule if it's not that easy though.
I love everything Harry Potter and would do 4 complete playthroughs if the platinum truly required it...I just wouldn't be very happy about the time wasted.
