Ever been playing a farming sim and found yourself wishing it was a bit more hands-on? Well, that's what Across the Valley is looking to provide when it comes to PSVR2. Announced for release in early 2023, this virtual reality title is all about tending your crops and looking after livestock in peace.
The concept is a simple one, but it sounds neat: you'll be planting produce, milking cows, and shearing sheep with your virtual hands, giving you a more immersive experience than flat-screen alternatives. Your harvest can be sold for profit, which you can then use to upgrade your farm, and so on.
It doesn't look as though the game will be truly pushing PSVR2 to its limits, but we can understand the appeal of a serene game like this. What do you think of Across the Valley? Plant your thoughts in the comments section below.

Almost every game in VR is a joy. I can’t really explain why. If I had to do this stuff in real life I’d consider it a pain, but put it in game form in a virtual world and I’ll happily squeeze udders all day long, lol.
@thefourfoldroot1 I’m inclined to agree. Something about the immersion makes the mundane often feel pretty extraordinary. For example, I’ve never been one for Jenga, but Tumbler VR was amazing.
So I can't punch the animals right? Pass.
