It feels like this was announced a lifetime ago, but we're glad Atomic Heart is finally on the approach. This unusual FPS rewrites the history books, presenting an alternate, sci-fi tinged Soviet Russia, and it strikes an unsettling tone with its creepy robots and retro tech.
The game recently received a 21st February release date, so it's not too far away now. The gameplay looks like a more chaotic version of something like BioShock, with a mixture of regular and irregular firearms, melee attacks, and supernatural abilities giving you lots of toys to play with. There are some seriously freaky robots and creatures trying to do you in as well.
We can't wait to uncover the mystery behind all the weird stuff in Atomic Heart, but what about you? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

will give it a try on GP at some point,
more interested in forspoken and MHRise just before it.
see how it reviews/release state first
Can’t wait to compare this one with Judas.
This is definitely one of the big games I'm most looking forward to next year. I really just want to hear that it plays well and find out ehat the structure of the game is, ie. linear level based, open areas like Prey or Bioshock, etc.
Its so wonderfully weird. I might be too creeped out by those robots to even play this game.
Definitely one of my most anticipated games of next year. Still though, I won’t be pre-ordering as I’ve been burned that way too many times - more than I care to admit. But if it does well in both critic and user reviews I’m all over this. Will be interesting to see how this compares to Judas….
This looks like it would make a brilliant ps5-psvr2 hybrid game, playable on both but with increased immersion on psvr2 +VRaF
Bioshock meets Serious Sam - curious to see how it turns out.
Had to stop watching halfway through SPOILER ALERT! Very excited about this game though. But cautiously awaiting performance reviews. 🤞🏼
Doom clone, maybe
Still interested but will be waiting for reviews.
