Skydance Interactive, the firm behind virtual reality survival hit The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, is cooking up a brand-new bleak and brutal world for PSVR2: Behemoth. The game, inspired by folk horror and giant monsters, will see you live as an outcast in a hostile world roamed by the eponymous beasts. You’ll need to master melee combat, and also learn how to use your equipment, like a grappling hook which can both pull objects towards you and help you to reach new areas.
The game is being built specifically from the ground-up for virtual reality, and with the developer’s pedigree we’re expecting something special here. So far, all we’ve got to go on is a cinematic trailer, but you can imagine how a harsh and unforgiving world commanded by impossibly large creatures would present a great backdrop for a PSVR2 title.

Wish this was going to have a non VR version. Really looked next gen.
I'm getting more and more excited for VR2. As you say, this studio has the ability to create something special here so I hope they pull it off.
I know it wasn’t in game, but the seemingly high production values of Behemoth has me very excited.
@Ken_Kaniff Same here. I don't own a VR device and don't plan to for a very long time.
@Ken_Kaniff
I kind of know how you feel. The number of pancake games I wished were VR, because I know it would make them significantly better, are legion.
@KidBoruto Yea, I bought the first PSVR day one and kind of regretted it. Not that I haven't enjoyed what ive played but its a pain to set up and i can't stay in it for to long without feeling kinda sick. Like you said it will be along time before I buy another one.
This looks very promising.
PSVR2 is looking better with every new reveal….I need a pay rise
Looks sick, i love Skydance and this basically looks there version of Dark Souls/Shadow of the Colussus. Looking forward to playing this on the new headset and not a comprimised Quest version...
@Ken_Kaniff Ah my apologies, thought you also never bought VR tech like me.
I'm waiting for VR gaming to reach realistic dot hack/Sword Art Online levels, but without the real danger of death/comas, not being able to logout etc.
