Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty got a new trailer at The Game Awards 2022, and CD Projekt Red's managed to lure another celebrity to Night City. That's right, acclaimed actor Idris Elba's in the expansion, as V appears to help the president of the New United States out of a jam.
The trailer also gives us a very brief glimpse of the game's incoming car combat system, which CDPR said will be added in the next big title update.
Phantom Liberty's looking intriguing then, but sadly, we still don't have a date. 2023 is the vague release window we're stuck with for now, but we're sure that the Polish developer will provide more info soon.

I'm actually looking forward to jumping back in again on PC for some more single player stuff.hopefully they add some new skills as well.
Trailer looked great, here's hoping the actual DLC doesn't suffer from launch problems like the base game.
We all love Idris Elba, but what was that accent? He did so much better back in The Wire
Looks awesome although if there was one thing that remained pretty bad for my experience in Cyberpunk it was any mission involving vehicles heavily. Never felt great so hopefully that update will fix it up quite a bit before this comes out.
@theheadofabroom The quality of his American accent and his performances in general have been on a steady decline since The Wire IMO
Doesn't sound like Stringer Bell.
@DiscoStuUK eh, he was pretty good in Luther where he wasn't trying to do an accent. It just feels like more and more he's trying to pretend he's from Compton rather than Brixton? It feels like when he remembered being a Brixton boy, he put more effort into his American accents.
I thought this was supposed to be a different story that doesn't involve V but i'm pretty sure I heard both male and female V voices.
Car combat??
ITS ALL IN THE GAME NOW HUH
