Looks great but I'm oddly hung up on the name. Is it even called Death Stranding 2? Not only did they call it DS2 I found it odd they referred to Death Stranding as DS1.

Sony pretty much give us same amount info about games coming this year without having a showcase.

I hope they focus more on stealth action gameplay as opposed to the walking sim stuff of the first game. Don't get me wrong it was actually pretty engaging for what it was but I was tiring of it by the end and I'm not sure I'd play another entry that was more of the same.

@admeister @Nepp67 I thought it was a flashback. So she had a kid at some point, and then she has the come-back-to-life disease but her kid didn't.

@ATaco strange i actually found the stealth gameplay with the ghosts in DS1 to be one of weakest parts. I want my sweeping vistas, music, and weird Kojima crap!

@Lonejester oh I didn't like that much either, though sneaking around against human enemies brought back those metal gear vibes I've been missing ever since MGS:V. I guess it's more that I just miss metal gear in general lol

@Lonejester I agree. All the stuff with BTs and other enemies was my least favourite part of the game. I just loved getting around the beautiful environment.

Loved Death Stranding and this looks suitably bonkers for a sequel so count me in

Best game trailer I’ve seen in quite a while. I really can’t wait for this one. I think DS will grow to become my favourite game of all time.

I don't think we can expect this to be a walking simulator again, I'm sure there will be segments, but I have a feeling we are going to see this develop into something much much bigger. Otherwise it's just too similar to the first game.

I got chills as soon as the whistling began. It weirdly took the crowd a long time to react, then they saw Kojima Logo...

"look for details" Drawbridge has a UHV Magellan which is maybe, possibly, I don't know, based on the Magellan USV 😅 The MAGELLAN USV is designed to perform a variety of missions at sea including electronic warfare, information gathering, target detection and identification, surface and underwater surveillance and reconnaissance.

When I first saw the trailer, I was so confused about Fragile and tentacles. Fragile Tentacles ahahaha… I would’ve won lamest attempts at jokes award last night. I’ll take my leave here 👑👑👑

One of the few announcements of the past few years I actually felt excited about almost like the old days.

I think this will be much more in the way of action this time, The delivery stuff from DS1 was kinda his job in passing while re connecting all nodes,
But now the question in the video was "Should we have connected" so time to go on a mission to take it all down ?!!

I honestly feel zero hype. In general whole show was lacking and disappointing. Summarizes the year of gaming events in 2022

Hopefully this will be exclusive to current gen. DS was great looking on PS4 but I can only imagine how good DS2 would look if they can devote all the energy to PS5.

Thought DS was hype only...until i actually started playing it. It is way better than i expected. So yeah, i say bring on number two (somehow this sounds strange)

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes!!! On of those rare times a genuinely weird yet amazing games gets a full on sequel, without a 20 year wait and a Kickstarter. I couldn't be more made up!

Walking simulator 2

As long as Kojima removes or fixes the combat, this could be GOTY...that was my only gripe, and the reward for going off the path and exploring was pretty lame as well. More holograms to talk to instead of hidden secret treasures/rare finds.

If the sequel improves on those aspects, yeah, I'm pretty hyped for it. Already one of the best looking graphical showcases.
