Hellboy Web of Wyrd Brings the Comic's Style to Life on PS5, PS4

Hellboy Web of the Wyrd has been announced for PS5 and PS4. According to the game's official description, it's a "roguelite action adventure made in partnership with Dark Horse Comics and creator Mike Mignola".

The game's clearly trying to stay true to the original Hellboy comics, as the visuals attempt to recreate Mignola's striking art.

Hellboy Web of the Wyrd doesn't have a release window yet, but we'll probably be hearing more about it soon enough.

Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) is an assistant editor of Push Square, and has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he's played 'em all. A little too much, some might say.

Boy did the pre-show host make one of the worst jokes I've ever heard after the trailer... "More like hell yeah, boy." Yikes....

Looked decent, but since it's a roguelite, I will pass. Not my genre.

Really dug West of Dead, I am glad that Upstream Arcade is getting a crack at this IP (since WoD pretty much had Hellboy's art style). I am wondering why Ron Perlman isn't voicing it though (he did their last game).

I like the originality on this one. With it being a roguelite I'm going to stay cautiously optimistic.

@ShogunRok Lol, I would have gotten a chuckle out of it. The joke was absolutely awful, but poking fun at it with the headline would have been just fine. No big deal in the end of course.
