It's been leaked more than once, but Sony and Housemarque have finally announced Returnal for PC.
The rogue-like third-person shooter is one of PS5's few true exclusives, and soon it'll be making the jump to PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Details right now are thin on the ground, but over on the PS Blog, Housemarque says the port will feature "an array of PC specific tweaks and upgrades", and it's been co-developed alongside Climax Studios.
We're sure to hear more specifics about the PC version nearer the time, but it's good to have that announced at least. Will you be playing it when it crash lands on computers? Let us know in the comments section below.

The first mod better be a Samus skin!
Another one down on the list
Great news for pc players as they get to play this great game.
Weird trailer. To excite PC players you need to show 21:9, 120hz+, dualsense gameplay etc. They buy games to see how well they can run them lol.
Great game on PS5 but it's going to be better with a mouse and keyboard. Can't wait to play it again the way it's meant to be played.
Hope it find a big audience on pc
@chucksneed feels like keyboard & mouse would make the game too easy, but idk. (And Dual Sense heightens the experience.) It's my favorite game, and it's cool that more gamers get to experience it.
See Microsoft, this is how things are meant to be, sharing to other platform audiences.
@Digit2021 Microsoft has been porting games to PC for many years
@eagletrippin Yeah, it's definitely my favourite Dualsense implementation so far. It's a bit of a shame that won't translate across to m+kB the same way.
Day one for me. The best PS5 exclusive I played when I still had it so naturally I'll buy it on PC. Now we just need the date.
Edit: you do know the Dual Sense can be used on PC right?
@Hindenburg Because they pretty much have a monopoly on PC operating systems.
Great to see PC players finally getting to play this, I hope the game does good numbers on that platform, it deserves it.
F yes!!!
Don't have a PS5 yet but this is the one game from it that I wanted to play the most.
Definitely day one.
@Hindenburg
Excellent, looking forward to Bethesda games and in the future Activision games coming to Sony....oh wait.
@Digit2021 But… all of Xbox’s games are also on PC?
@Digit2021 my thoughts exactly.. smh.. I’m gonna riot if Fallout 5 is suXbox exclusive
I was hoping it was a DLC announcement, but am happy for PC gamers who will finally be able to experience Returnal.
I didn't pick up Returnal day one because I was convinced it wasn't for me. When it hit Extra I decided to give it a shot. Pushed through the entire game in record time, loved it! I'll be sure to grab it for PC as well.
Super happy more people get to experience this incredible game!
And I am definitely gonna be picking it up on PC as well. Even better framerate? Count me in!
@Digit2021 Why would Microsoft release Bethesda games on PlayStation? Same as Sony wouldn’t release their exclusives on Xbox. At least Xbox release their exclusives on PC day and date unlike PlayStation.
@Digit2021 "Excellent, looking forward to Bethesda games and in the future Activision games coming to Sony....oh wait."
You realize Returnal wasn't announced for Xbox, right?
They're both equally "sharing games" in this regard. You can't look at two companies doing the exact same thing and praise one while trying to score points against the other. Especially when the one you're criticizing puts all of their games on PC day one, whereas the other is only starting to port some of their biggest releases.
Actually, Microsoft has been allowing various first-party IPs to appear on the Nintendo Switch, so they've actually been far more "sharing" with their games as of late than Sony.
People forget PC is Microsoft where majority of people use Windows. Microsoft does more than just XBox.
@Digit2021 alright
When is God Of War 2018 and Ragnarok coming to Xbox?
@anoyonmus
God of War was released on the Microsoft PC platform. Ragnarok most likely coming later too. Last of Us is also coming to the Microsoft PC platform.
Great news.
I wonder how the PC market will react to the £70 price tag
