Ever wanted to live out your own anime detective power fantasy? Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate, developed by Tokyo Chronos creator MyDearest, is promising a cinematic crime drama for PSVR2’s launch day. It all takes place in the far-flung future, in a maritime city named Astrum Close, where the crime rate is less than 0.001%. Against all odds, however, the city’s founder has been murdered – and you’ve been tasked with closing the case.
“The investigation will be conducted using Memory Dive, an ability that allows the player to access the past by touching objects with the left hand and reliving the owner’s memories,” the PS Blog post explains. “The present can also be altered by interfering with the owner’s actions at the moment their fate diverges.” Sounds really interesting, doesn’t it?
This originally released episodically on other platforms like Meta Quest 2, where it earned rave reviews for its stunning visuals and gripping storyline. You’ll obviously be able to experience the entire thing, from start-to-finish, on PSVR2. Another one to add to your wishlist?

I got really sucked in to Tokyo Chronos despite the somewhat rudimentary presentation. For some reason, visual novels really benefit from VR, even with limited action and a prevalence of static screens. Can’t wait to play/read this.
@Amnesiac it's phenomenal. I may be biased as I was recently accepted as an official partner influencer for the game but even if I didn't get it I would still recommend it tenfold. Dyschronia feels like my dearest taking all the elements of their previous games and perfecting them for this entry. I have been singing the praises of this game for nearly 3 months, I have bought the game 14 times and gave away 13 of those copies to let people see for themselves this is an emotional whirlwind of a game and I'm so happy it's coming to psvr 2, the visuals are already insane on quest so I can't imagine what it will be like on psvr2.
