Tekken 8 Is Jaw-Dropping In First Gameplay Trailer, Complete with Character Reveals

Tekken 8 is an absolute stunner in its new trailer, which debuted at The Game Awards 2022. It's our first glimpse of actual gameplay, and we're still reeling (in a good way) from the visual style. Compared to Tekken 7, which is now over seven years old, this is easily a full generation ahead. The power of Unreal Engine 5, etc.

We don't have a release window or anything, but we do have more confirmed characters. The trailer features Jin's mother Jun, Paul, Law, King, and Jack. The classics! Oh, and Lars.

Jun Kazama! One of my all time favorite characters. I’ve been down back circle circle circle, circle + square, square square triangling since Tekken 2, and can’t wait to do it on PS5.

@NEStalgia Thankfully we will have some breathing space, SF6 is June while we still don't even have a confirmed month yet for Tekken 8.

@KidBoruto even if it's December, that's a lot of fighting game in one calendar year! The two heavy weights back to back and Chuck Norris on console all in one news cycle. It's too much!
