It appears the release date of Diablo IV has leaked just one day prior to its expected reveal at The Game Awards. The Twitter account Aggiornamenti Lumina, which reliably scrubs the Microsoft Store for new information, has picked up a 5th June 2023 launch date for the Blizzard title, but this could slip into the day after depending on your time zone.
It says there'll be a standard edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and an Ultimate Edition on offer, with the game weighing in at around 80GB on Xbox. Final Fantasy XVI is also rumoured to release in June 2023, which would make for yet another busy month next year.
You can tune in for the live announcement tomorrow night, with our When Is The Game Awards 2022 guide providing all the specific times you need. Other titles like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is also set to appear on the night. Would you be happy committing the summer months to Diablo IV? Plan your character in the comments below.

Looking forward to buying my ten premium crests to unlock my premium loot crate for my special loot drop, but only if I buy the £33.99 premium pack that conveniently has just slightly less crafting materials than I need, forcing me to buy the £43.99 pack instead. I am also looking forward to not being able to get past level 30 without the season pass giving me an experience boost.
I am complaining into the wind here, of course. Supposedly the majority of Diablo Immortal's revenue comes from 10% of the player base or "whales". That's why they do it and will continue to do it.
I hope Actiblizzard goes to hell...By playing Diablo, of course.
Wonder if this will be the last Blizzard game released on PS considering the pending Microsoft acquisition of Blizzard.

@Jeaz
Let's hope it is not...
Can't wait for the battlepass....
This is one game I'm def not paying full price for. In a few years maybe when it's $20 New or cheaper.
DO NOT PREORDER
It was rumored for April, wonder if it got pushed back so Xbox can launch it day and date on GP. I am a Diablo fanatic. I play them on Xbox and PC, so i would buy the game and not use GP. I have followed a lot of the beta testers on YouTube and the game is looking like Blizzard of old and that can only be a good thing. This game i believe will be the game that get’s them back in the good graces of the fans. Take my $70 dollars in June 2023 cause I’ll be still playing it in June 2027. Diablo 3 is one of the games i have logged so many hours on that when i look at the time played i am like well there went a lot of time of my life on a video game. But i just still can’t stop playing it after all these years since release.
@Green-Bandit i love my diablo..i have played diablo 2 (pc),diablo 3 (pc) and ps4 and i also still play diablo 2 remastered (ps5) so i'll be all over diablo 4 when it drops..
@Northern_munkey Heck yeah man, Diablo is just so much fun, i am really happy that it is looking so good. Of course i didn’t touch the mobile game. Are you going Console or PC for D4? I have a PS5 & Series X, PC might be able to run it, but i feel like if i am going PC, i would want to redo my rig and get a new monitor. I use the PS5 and Series X on a LG Oled and it has spoiled me. I even play Overwatch 2 on Series X cause of the Oled. You’re a big fan what’s the move here? 😊
@Green-Bandit ps5 as my pc is ancient now.
@Northern_munkey makes sense, i think i will get it on Series X as i don’t really want to hunt down PC upgrade parts. Would like to see how it plays and feels on a high end PC tho. Good thing is it will be around long enough for me to get there at some point.
