Update: As teased in yesterday’s cinematic trailer, DOOM’s Doom Slayer and The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia will be part of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1’s Battle Pass. The latter will be unlockable at a later date, while the former will be part of the premium track. Other skins this season will include a character called Selene, who’ll be available from the start, as well as The Ageless.
As always, the Battle Pass will cost you 950 V-Bucks to buy, but you’ll earn 1,500 V-Bucks back if you complete it, allowing you to effectively buy the next one for free. Generous, that!
As for Chapter 4 Season 1 itself, there’s quite a lot to look forward to. With Fortnite Island reformed following the events of Chapter 3 Season 4, you can look forward to dirt bikes, new weapons, and Reality Augments, which will give you buffs the longer you survive. You’ll also be able to capture points of interest with your squad, and hold the territory for loot and other gameplay perks.
It’s looking like another solid season. Will you be picking up the Battle Pass?
Original Article: A cinematic trailer for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, shared at the end of an extremely disappointing live event, has confirmed that The Witcher’s Geralt and DOOM’s Doom Slayer (also known as Doomguy) will be added as new skins. It’s highly likely these will be part of the Battle Pass, but the game is offline until Sunday, 4th December, so we’ll need to await further confirmation.
Other characters glimpsed in the video include YouTuber Mr Beast and The Incredible Hulk – riding a motorcycle, no less! There also appears to be content from My Hero Academia – or a Pickaxe at the very least.
