As of the time of publication, you have less than 24 hours to claim January’s trio of PS Plus Essential games. Remember, once added to your library, these titles will be yours to download and play for as long as you remain a member. For those of you who don’t know, the selection includes Biomutant, Divine Knockout, and Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
Beginning tomorrow, 3rd January, the trio will be replaced with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Axiom Verge 2, and Fallout 76. Those of you who are subscribed to PS Plus Extra or above will also be able to download WWE 2K22 on PS4 as well. Remember, you can keep track of All PS Plus Games through the link.

make sure you add mass effect legendary edition to your library
@trev666 Just stop playing ME3 once you kill a dude named "Marauder Shields".
I have Mass Effect since like a year ago so nothing really that good this last month for me.
I already download biomutant and mass effect legendary collection.word up son
Just noticed mine has lapsed 😭 can't see any good deals about?
I wonder how many people downloaded and played Divine Knockout.
@sorteddan i did for five minutes to get my ps stars reward...
I'm still confused about this, and I've been a subscriber for two years now. There's a one-month window to download or "claim" these games, and under the revamped scheme, there is also now a window, though a longer one, to play them after you've claimed them? Do I understand correctly that most games will at some point in the future be removed from the service, at which point, even if you've claimed and downloaded them, you won't be able to play them? Red Dead Redemption II and Slay the Spire were both games on the service, and now they're not, and even though I downloaded both of them, I no longer have access to play them. What's the point of that initial one-month window, then?
@nofriendo LOL
@nofriendo if you add any of the three essential games mentioned in the article to your library, they are yours to keep/download/play at any point providing you remain subscribed to PS+.
The games you mention were part of PS+ extra and you do not own them. Think of that like Netflix etc - games come and go from the service.
@MatthewJP Ahhh, thank you, that was never clear to me! So Extra is basically PS Now/Game Pass. But PS Plus is still "a handful of free games every month that you get to keep forever - if you claim them."
I already claimed both Mass Effect and Biomutant, but thanks for the heads up!
@nofriendo Yup, that's the reason why I feel more comfortable committing my time to playing Fallout76, now that it has been added PS Plus Essentials. It was already on PS Plus Extra, but that's not a permanent thing.
January games now up! Axiom Verge the only one I'm interested in this month, but you know, add them all anyway because.
