Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5

Respawn Entertainment has delayed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor by six weeks to 28th April 2023. Announced in a post on Twitter, the studio says it needs a bit more time to "hit the Respawn quality bar" and achieve a high level of polish. The PS5 sequel is content complete, but a final round of bug fixes is required and this delay will allow for an even better player experience according to the tweet.

"In order for the team to hit the Respawn quality bar, provide the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to our release schedule — Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now launch globally on April 28th."

The game was originally set to release one week before Resident Evil 4, but now it'll launch on the same day as Dead Island 2 and compete for attention with Horizon Forbidden West DLC Burning Shores.

When Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order came out for PS4, it wasn't in the best of states with lots of glitches affecting the overall experience. Respawn Entertainment will be looking to circumvent a similar launch with this added time for further bug fixes. Will you still be playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? Wait another six weeks in the comments below.
