Skateboarding, much like soccer, doesn’t feel like an immediately immaculate fit for PSVR2. That’s because so much of Sony’s new-gen headset revolves around what you do with your hands, rather than your feet. The developers of VR Skater have embraced that, meaning you’ll move your hands in exactly the same way a real skater would move their feet.
While the proof will ultimately be in the pudding, feedback has been positive thus far. This looks like a tricky title to master, but the physics look seriously impressive, and we can imagine this being incredibly gratifying once you work up a flow. There’s no release date attached right now, but the game’s in development, and is due out later in the summer.

Football, Sammy!
-10 points for the ghastly term, soccer
Soccer?! Come on push square
Hmm looks a bit weird that one. Will see how it reviews. Loving the VR news though regardless. Agreed though.........Soccer ?????? Chad Barker
It’s great that PushSquare is giving VR some attention. I hope that continues.
Oooh that is just not right, don’t ever tarnish our beautiful game again with this American terminology.
No Alyx?? This is a tragedy
The concept looks neat but, I'm not sure VR with weird placeholder controls is the way to really sell VR. Simulating skateboarding with your hands sounds like simulating playing piano with your feet.
@BeerIsAwesome Technically, America was invented by Brits, but they never want to take ownership of their own failures
@BeerIsAwesome
If you think we’re bad, look into how the French defend their language! Lol [deaths, taxes, and sticking it to the French!]
@BeerIsAwesome All true but that's not how we roll now😉
@thefourfoldroot1 lol I think the French stepped into that one the moment they banned the foreign term "eSports" 😂
@NEStalgia
The French stepping towards something? Surely they’re more used to going in the other direction? 😳
@thefourfoldroot1 😆
