More people should give Crusader Kings 3 a go. It’s a little awkward with a controller and the PC version will always be superior but it’s a bloody good game regardless. Fingers crossed Victoria 3 makes the jump too.
"Rollerdrome" is a brilliant little game. It's a mystery how nobody thought of the concept (Hawk's Pro Skater with guns) earlier.
@nessisonett I took a punt and spent £50 on it, but I can't get into it. Just a bit too heavy for me and I don't have much patience for Youtube guides. Ideally I'd need to sit down with someone to really show me the ropes I think. Sometimes I can break through more complicated games like Divinity and I have an absolute blast, so I am sure there is a great game in there somewhere.
@nessisonett I've got it downloaded on PC, keep meaning to give it a go - it was Humble Choice's main game a few months back, which was a particularly good month (side note: January was the first month I've skipped for a while. Much as Doom Eternal was a good inclusion, it just wasn't worth having to buy the DLC on top of it for basically the same price as the Deluxe Edition, which already includes the DLC - I ended up just skipping Humble Choice and buying the Deluxe version on it's own - and I get it, Humble Choice isn't all about the big games, but I have indie games coming out of my ears at this point, from all the month's I've been subscribed)
Picked up Two Point Campus via my Turkey account for quite the bargain at £12
@kyleforrester87 this is how i found Civilization to be. Even watching youtube guides bamboozled me.
Might have to jump on Neon White with this sale. That game showed up a lot in people's top 10's last year and it looks pretty appealing to me.
@Kidfunkadelic83 There are just too many systems and I need to be able to ask questions as I go along really to see how what I am doing impacts other stuff or what I should be prioritising at any given moment, and even very good guides don't actually demonstrate these things in a way that I might want to do them, which is understandable but I get frustrated!
*Critics choice
*GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition
Pick one
A Plague Tale: Innocence says it's free on PS4. Anyone want to check that? Is that because I have the PS5 version on PS Plus, or are they giving it away to boost sales of the next game.
Just incase someone missed it on Plus and wants to play it, might be worth a look to see if it's legitimately free
@Deoxyr1bose I mean, critics certainly had a lot to say about it
@nessisonett I had a go at the free trial, got through the tutorial and then suddenly realised I didn't have a clue what to do next!
I think it probably is an epic game, just a bit inaccessible to start with. I will give it another go at some point though.
Ya'll at PS need to start using the filter, there is not 350 games on sale unless you count shark cards and Sims add on packs as games. Go to filter and select "Full Game + Game Bundle" and it brings it down to 223 results and even then it shows multiple versions of the same game so it's probably less than 200 games.
Minor gripe but I can't help myself
Check the emails. Not sure if it's a UK thing or not but discount codes seem to be going out for selected accounts
@Deoxyr1bose I mean... It was their choice to advise people not buy it...
@nessisonett utterly brilliant game I agree
Having skipped the PS4 (after owning 1-3), I wasn't familiar with the Playstation Store when I finally found a PS5 last October. Unsurprisingly I guess, the PS Store can be as much of a slog as the Switch eShop, the only other next/current gen console that I have owned over the last few years. Apparently no one has thought of a solution for customers who want to browse for nothing in particular. I at least figured out how to filter in only PS5. I plan to try the 'full game/bundle' solution recommended in a previous comment.
Let me finally get RE: Village.
