Evil Dead: The Game just got a free update on PS5 and PS4, which adds in the new Splatter Royale game mode, a gore-drenched take on the popular Battle Royale formula.
In Splatter Royale, face off against up to 40 players as you fight to be the last one standing. We really enjoyed Evil Dead, and we think the humour and violence of the franchise make for a great fit for this kind of multiplayer game, with just the right amount of dismemberment.
Will you try Evil Dead: The Game's new Splatter Royale game mode? Remember, the base game is coming to PS Plus this month (on 7th February), so you can try it out risk-free if you are a subscriber. Fight to be the last one standing in the comments section below.

There's not enough players for this game as is, and they're adding a BR mode?... Takes me 15 mins to find 4 other players sometimes... I just don't understand this decision. Hopefully PS Plus bolsters the numbers for this game, it really needs it; it deserving it is another conversation all together.
@Constable_What yeah I agree. I think the devoted players were waiting on content for 4 v 1 mode. I slowly left this game after 100+ hours committed to multiplayer as community outreach was a bit thin
i’d be down to try the game itself , would have to resub though so i’d have to pay
Looking forward to giving this a try on Plus. Not really one for these asymmetrical multiplayers but I do love Evil Dead (it’s criminal we didn’t get the final season of the show after that insane cliffhanger). So hopefully Plus addresses the player count you cats refer to. At least for a while.
@Constable_What Does it have crossplay with PC/Xbox? I think I got it for free on Epic Game Store a while ago, but haven't tried it yet.
@Perturbator It has had crossplay since launch. That's the sad thing.
@FinalDingo Same! I have over 100 hours and the platinum for this game. I was waiting for more 4 v 1 stuff, maybe even a PvE announcement, but not a BR...
