Judas, the next game from the mind of auteur creator Ken Levine (of BioShock fame), won't be out for a while. Announced at The Game Awards this December past, we now have an extremely broad release window; expect the immersive sim sometime between now and March of 2025.
That's according to Take-Two's latest quarterly earnings report, which states that the publisher will release 87 games (delays notwithstanding) between now and the end of the fiscal year in 2025, with IGN confirming with CEO Strauss Zelnick that Judas will be among that number.
Little is known of Judas. Developed by Ghost Story Games, a studio founded by Levine following the closure of Irrational Games, we know the title will be a single-player narrative first-person shooter set in a sci-fi universe, and it looks a lot like a BioShock game. However, reports indicate a troubled development cycle, with Levine himself accused of being a "flawed manager". Expectations will be sky-high for this one, regardless, considering the pedigree of what came before, and we can't wait to see some proper gameplay.
Are you looking forward to Judas? When would you expect to see the title released? Get wildly hyped in the comments section below.

Highly anticipated for me.. but nice to get an expectation check timewise
This has been in development for such an unbelievably long time I just don't know where it's going to land and have a feeling it might disappoint. Keeping my expectation low. But it is Ken Levine so who knows.
Not really invested in this wasn't that into Bioshock but once again have to say STOP ANNOUNCING GAMES SO EARLY!!! 😅 Any Bioshock fans are gonna go crazy waiting this is one of the things I love about CAPCOM these days they don't announce a game until it's basically done they're like hey here big RE game it's out in 8 months that how it should be
Like Andrew Ryan to a golf club, I'm expecting it to be a hit.
Could they stop announcing games years and years before release? It gets tiresome seeing a cool trailer just for it to be like "coming in 2035!" especially with how games are today with delays and patches post launch. Probably see this game in 2027.
Sort of expected it a bit sooner, but whatever. There’s plenty else to get excited about in 2023. Feels like the game’s been in development so long that it felt like it was perhaps a 2023 title or at least 2024, but, eh, this year it’s already going to be a challenge for me to finish what is certainly on the docket regardless of what I perceived as the possibilities. Happy to see a relative timeline though. Looking forward to it whatever year it comes out in.
Cool by me.my backlog of games is huge.i can wait for judas.word up son
Man.. you can make a game step by step, day by day being a goddamm perfectionist and eventually launch it. Or, you can go with a short development around your idea to keep it as fresh as possible aka Kojima. But what you certainly should not do is being a goddamm purrrfectionist and reboot your fresh idea over and over every time it deviates onto something your purrrfectionism doesn’t accept, having to deal with a break up and all sorts of ***** that happen in such a long time to the point your idea now looks like rubbish in your mind because you are changing! . .of cuorse.
Welp.. there goes my excitement for this game for now.. hopefully Atomic Heart can fill the void for now.. hopefully
Then why show it off if it ain't coming for another 2-3 years?
Reveal trailer had me hyped, but not going to follow this until we have a solid release date.
