Round8 Studio has announced it'll be putting its Pinnochio-inspired Souls-like Lies of P out for PS5 in August 2023. The new release window was announced in a fresh trailer, which you can check out above. It is sporting a lot of Bloodborne vibes, with demonic monsters and a gothic setting. We don't know exactly what date in August the game will launch, but there's now a month this summer to pencil Lies of P in for.

@TheLotteryMan1 so a game about hypocritical comments and praising sony 😂
Curiosity piqued…..

Such an awesome service for us consumers.
@TheLotteryMan1 do you remember the ‘we believe in generations’ sentence Jim Ryan told you?
Save your money and buy Bloodbourne or even better wait for the Bloodbourne remaster.
I wish the media would stop using the Bloodborne name for articles about games that don't really have much to do with it...
This one is to Bloodborne just as much as Thymesia was... or as Steelrising was to Dark Souls (if someone doesn't know what I'm talking about... then "here's your sign!").
There are some design choices somewhat inspired from BB, maybe, Maybe I can give them that... with the "beast" and the mad individual... But the combat itself in this game is noting like BB, and that's the very "spine" of a game in this genre.
Without it any Bloodborne comparison is like using Doom Eternal to promote Witchfire...
Sleeper GOTY title imo.
Hopefully we'll get a solid date confirmed by Summer 2023.
So happy this is finally getting a release. I very rarely buy games day one anymore unless I'm really looking forward to them. This will be day one for me. A shame more people don't seem to be talking about it.
@UltimateOtaku91 When is Bloodborne remaster coming out? It's a bit hard to imagine saying to someone, "Hey, Lies of P is coming in August but you should wait for a remaster of a game that's not even been announced and is coming... ugh, sometime maybe, I wish?"
This looks pretty good. It’ll be on Game Pass so will check it out there.
