Lots of late-game areas shown
Capcom has announced in a new Resident Evil 4 trailer that a "special demo" of the game will be available soon, and that The Mercenaries mode will be included as a free DLC after launch. The footage from the trailer shows a lot more of the late-game areas, including the island, mine cart ride, and the castle. Check it out above. It's all out for PS5, PS4 on 24th March 2023.

I'm assuming Mercenaries will then be what they called PSVR2 content last year. Still hoping for the full game some day.

Is it just me or did this trailer not look or feel like RE4 at all? It’s been years since I last played it but this trailer made it seem a lot weirder and cringier than I remember. Felt like I was watching the trailer for a completely different game.

Capcom doesn't really need to show more but holy crap, that was hype.
Hopefully Separate Ways (if it's no integrated in the main story) and Mercenaries are delivered day one with the main game, no DLC BS!

I'm so stoked for RE4 Remake. Very happy to see they kept the island content and the Krauser boss fight in the game. Capcom is just on fire with there games as of late and I'm all for it! This game looks just ridiculously polished!!!
@ItsBritneyB_tch looked the same to me except Luis obviously doesn't die as early in the game this time since he's in sections of the remake that he would've been dead in the original

Nice trailer! I avoided most of it for reasons, wanting to go into the remake as blind as I can.
Wow! The RE4 reimagine looks awesome! Replayed the original twice recently and it still holds up really well so I rather see a reimagine like this than a remake (which is just a marketing term in this game title).
Oh boy! I totally forgot Capcom ALWAYS gives out extremely cool DEMOS!! I won’t be able to buy the game digitally on launch on PS5/4 so I’m also looking forward to Capcom’s usual quick and very kind sale.
