A playable demo for upcoming RPG Octopath Traveler II has popped up on the PlayStation Store. Available to download right now on both PS5 and PS4, the 'Prologue Demo' weighs in at a reasonable 3.9GB.
You might have to manually go looking for it, though. Once you're on the page for Octopath Traveler II, click the little '...' icon and there should be an option to view the demo instead of the full game pre-order. From there, just hit the download button.
Upon starting the demo up, you can choose to play as any of the game's eight protagonists — but you'll only be able to spend a maximum of three hours with the lovely looking adventure. Fortunately, if you do enjoy the excursion, you'll be able to carry your progress over to the full release when it hits Sony's systems on the 24th February.

@KaijuKaiser Nothing on the PS Store yet (although Sea of Stars doesn't even have a page on there).
Nice kinda expected now with SE delivering demos for a lot of their games. Looking forward to messing around in it
I am thrilled to see demos starting to become a thing again - it's felt like we've had a long drought of demos being released for games. I hope this drives sales for them (even if it's unlikely to be one I pick up), because I want to encourage the practice.

Happy to see a demo, but doubt I'll ever have time to play it.
Played the demo for 5 minutes then realised I was already going to buy the game, so I immediately uninstalled.
Anyone played it yet, how is it?
The art style of this game wants me to buy it regardless…
Anyone played this yet? Does it run at 60fps?
Already have physical PS5 copy ordered for that bonus steelbook, though I might sell the steelbook for some cash return.
@RobN people talk a lot of crap about Square Enix, which is understandable as they make questionable decisions higher up.
But they are the only ones to consistently push out demos for a lot of their games, as well as release good niche games.
I may not like the CEO of SE, but I sure like the games and demos they release.
