Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is steadily approaching its pre-ordained release date of 28th April on PS5, and as we get closer, we can feel the hype begin to build within us. New gameplay, courtesy of IGN's First preview coverage, only exacerbates the issue, as it looks like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order biggest issues have been addressed somewhat in this sequel.
We see exploration and combat in an expansive open area on the planet of Koboh, which is filled with battle droids from the prequel trilogy of films, alongside some menacing wildlife. This open-world approach looks like a good fit, with Kal shown riding wild beasts and even gliding with the aid of a very distressed-looking Pteradon creature.
What do you think of this latest look at Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? Are you looking forward to this next entry in what is, no doubt, a burgeoning franchise? May the Force always be with you in the comments section below.

Is it actually coming on ps4 as well or is that a typo?
Anyone else had a hard time to spot any graphical improvements from the first game? Looks exactly like fallen order
First one was just far less good Sekiro with ponchos for me. Combine that with Disney induced indifference to Star Wars and... Meh.
@cschene a typo, sorry. Updated 😅
Looking really good, it's just arriving in a very busy month or so.
Minecraft Legends, Advance Wars 1&2, Last Case of Benedict Fox, Redfall, Zelda TotK, Suicide Squad and THIS all arrive in the same 6 week window.
I will probably wait for patches on this one, considering the state of the original at launch.

My understanding is that it is only coming to next gen consoles. So, unfortunately, no PS4.
I watched a video where the developers stated they are not coming to last gen as it would be really limiting for what they wanted to do this time around.
No preview needed just send me the game Amazon dang it 😂
This looks like much of the exact same.
It doesnt look bad, but there were a ton of things wrong with, (and overlooked in reviews), in the first iteration. If they just copy that formula, I'm not interested. That level design was terrible and the art design pretty mediocre. The weightless floaty combat and its animations were pretty bad as well along with a general repetitive feel to it all. One of my biggest pet peeves though was loot that has no function beyond cosmetic. I thought the same with GOT and its lame cosmetics. Just stupid to have most of the exploration impetus to reward you with just cosmetic changes to the lightsaber, and a friggin poncho...
I was underwhelmed even paying a steep discount for the first one, but I am glad I waited for it. This one would have to have some major improvements for me to shell out anything above 50%off full price.
@KundaliniRising333 I really do find calling the combat ‘weightless’ and ‘floaty’ quite astonishing tbh
@themightyant I'll be skipping all of those games until they're on sale for dirt cheap, Star Wars will have my full attention until June.
@KidBoruto You'll be waiting forever till Tears of the Kingdom is dirt cheap. A Nintendo sales is like 20-33% off once every few years
TBH I haven't decided yet, which will have to wait. This does have a good chance of making the cut.
@themightyant Right my bad for not including an asterick on Zelda lol. I'll pick that game up for $45-$50 in 3-4 years.
