Excellent action-platformer Dead Cells is paying homage to the legendary series that inspired it with the upcoming Return to Castlevania DLC. In a new trailer, we learn of a secret Richter Mode, which is sure to appeal to the purists out there.
If you can find the requisite secret room (or, let's be honest, get fed up and Google it), you can actually play as Richter Belmont, replete with his original Symphony of the Night moveset. It's a pretty awesome inclusion and one we look forward to seeking out when the DLC drops on 6th March.
What do you think of the inclusion of a Richter Mode in Dead Cells? Will you Return to Castlevania when the appointed time comes? Crack the whip in the comments section below.

Definitely checking this out when it drops as it's seemingly the only Castlevania content in the horizon. Unless those rumours are true...
I was done with Dead Cells... but this love letter to Castlevania may pull me back in. It looks amazing.
Super excited for this. I have Dead Cells on both PS4 and Xbox, but as I have all the existing DLC on the Switch version of the game, that’s where I decided to pre-order the Return to Castlevania content. As a huge fan of both Dead Cells and Castlevania, however, I may end up grabbing it on PlayStation, too.
Talk about fan(g) appeal 😉
I wasn't a Dead Cells fan before, but this makes it probably the only Castlevania product I'm interested even if the rumors ARE true.
This is like when a girl is flirting hard with you but she won't put out. Just get the deed done already and let these guys make a new Castlevania game!
Ok they’ve piqued my interest now. I’ve resisted up until today but I’m not sure I can hold this position any longer.
