Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is set to drop on 15th February, after having been delayed in order to address community feedback. A new, more compact map will be available at launch, it's called Ashika Island, and we got our first glimpse of it in a new trailer.
In addition, the Resurgence game mode is making a return, a more streamlined take on the traditional Battle Royale that will crucially allow players to respawn. Combined with the smaller and more focused Ashika map, it sounds like we have a recipe for some extremely hot drops on our hands.
Season 2 will also beef up the more traditional ranked multiplayer suite, offering new weapons, modes and maps to try out. Ashika is even available for DMZ as an infiltration option, so there really is something for everyone. Considering it's a free update, and Warzone 2.0 is both standalone and free-to-play, it's hard to complain (although we will do our best to try).

Bring back plunder ffs..dmz is great fun but plunder was brilliant and great with mates for a quick blast when times at a premium. They always leave the best maps and modes out and put the supposedly fan favs back in for the umpteenth time. Thank god treyarch dont have anything to do with this or we would have nuke town again..bring back plunder.
I need to grind the bp so i don't have to pay another 10$
@Nepp67
I never got the appeal of battle passes or really any microtransactions period. I have never once in my life spent so much as a dime on any free to play game.
@PegasusActual93 @Nepp67 seeing as mw2 is my go to online shooter through out the week (weekends mainly single player games) i buy the first battle pass then i just use the tokens earned to purchase the next. I understand that there are gamers that are against such practices and i personally hate the loot boxes where you have no idea what you are going to get but if you can see exactly what you are purchasing then i'm good with it. Choices are good..loot boxes are gambling and it just has no place being in any game.
@PegasusActual93 Some people like myself just like the look of some cosmetics. If there isn't then I just don't buy it.
@Northern_munkey I would like the BP system if it wasn't due to the time limit. If devs followed Halo Infinite's BP system it would be perfect.
I tried Warzone, but they put in these ridiculous bots in the game which is absolutely mindboggling.
They ruin the experience with their aimbots. Went back to Apex. Though this map looks sick, so I'll try it
@Victor_Meldrew
It's the area where there's a lot of loot and lots of players drop in there 🤓
