Airborne Metroidvania Vernal Edge Takes to the Skies on PS5, PS4

Vernal Edge is a gorgeous-looking Metroidvania set in the mysterious floating Kingdom of Haricot, and it's out today on PS5 and PS4.

We get some serious Shovel Knight vibes from this one, which is high praise indeed. But Vernal Edge has that air about it, with its arresting art style and a cast of colourful characters you will no doubt cross swords with at some point or another. It helps, too, that combat looks a tad deeper than we initially thought, with new skills to learn and fluid animations.
