It's been a hot minute since we saw anything from Ubisoft about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The last we heard of it was a delay into fiscal year 2023, meaning it could arrive at late as April 2024. Fans have understandably been clamouring for any fresh glimpse at the elusive game, and they may have finally just got one, albeit not from an official source.
ScriptLeaksR6 is a pretty reliable Ubisoft dataminer, and today, they've released a previously unseen image from the upcoming game. They say Frontiers of Pandora is "likely always first person", referring to the player's perspective during gameplay. The screen is of the player holding a human weapon and fighting someone in a large mech suit.
Further down Script's Twitter feed, they also say pre-orders for the game are coming soon, showing off a digital bonus pack. This combined with the aforementioned new image seems to suggest Ubisoft could finally be gearing up to re-reveal Frontiers of Pandora.
Hopefully an official unveiling isn't too far away, if only to make Video Producer Aaron Bayne one happy bunny. Are you excited for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, or are you someone other than Aaron? Tell us in the comments section below.

Ubisoft remains so silent about it's two main projects - both Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin's Creed: Mirage.
Hitler salute?
Might be at a showcase/state of play since Sony has marketing rights.
@GrimReaper looks nothing like one.
@captainsandman @GrimReaper more like Crisp Ratt Raptor taming salute!
@GrimReaper Wrong hand. But even if it were the right (pun indented) hand it would look nothing like it
@Mintie why do people dislike Chris Pratt again?
@theMEGAniggle because people are stupid and miserable and ***** on others to make themselves feel better.
If they're making this an FPS I think Ubisoft doesn't really understand the audience.
@GreatAuk you're right but I wanted to see his response because I loved the guy, he was great on Parks & Rec, then I disliked him slightly and it was minor but I can't remember why!
On topic: that screenshot looks horrendous. I did not know it was supposed to be Far Cry: Alien Planet edition
@GreatAuk @theMEGAniggle. No. I’m pretty sure it’s because of his relationship with the anti LGBTQ church, Hillsong.
But just because he is a member of a homophobic church doesn’t mean that he hates gay people. It simply means his pastor does.
I’m so excited for this game. I’ll devote my whole life to Eywa if it’s released this year 🙌
@theMEGAniggle Honestly I just like that getting his name ever so slightly wrong turns it into a crispy critter.
I don't mind him as an actor and quite enjoy him in the MCU, as a person he seems okay but his church of choice has a terrible rep for bigotry so whenever he pops up on Twitter's Trending sidebar I'm always wondering if he's done something dumb.
I am one of those that think he was the wrong choice for Maria, though.
ubisoft and avatar: two things i heavily dislike. that aside, i don't think ubisoft is in a place where they are capable of putting out good games anymore. this game is destined to fail.
@Mintie @Stevemalkpus that's it!
I always forget because its not like he actually did anything to anyone expect act a terrible role in a terribly edited movie but yeah that Hillsong thing is yikes
Crisp Ratt slaps though, I like it. Funnily enough, he's grown on me for Mario. Between Mario and Beyond the Spider-Verse I don't know which one I'm more excited for. Its probably Spider-Verse though
@Grimwood it’s good, you should give it a chance. Just forget about how it’s one of the highest grossing movies. The actual lore and world building is excellent. I didn’t think it was as good as the first movie (because James Horners soundtrack really elevated the first movie and his absence was felt in the second) but it’s still good.
If it's first person, I wouldn't be interested. I prefer third person games.
@Grimwood i forgot it was even out. I haven't seen it either. I will watch it eventually, when it's available to stream.
First person view is a very divisive choice, but I'll still play the game anyways.
