While the big sports are pretty much tied up with EA Sports and 2K Sports, we respect Nacon’s ambition to cover some of the less popular events. This year will see it release three sports titles on PS5 and PS4, with the previously discussed Tiebreak tennis simulation among them. The other two? Rugby 24 and Tour de France 2023.
Big Ant Studios is back on deck for the former, which will feature the entire Ruby World Cup 2023, alongside 130 licensed national teams. That’s set to be released on 7th September, the same day that the big event kicks off in France.
Speaking of France, Cyanide Studios will also return on 8th June with Tour de France 2023. Details are extremely light on what improvements and additions fans can expect here, but we’d anticipate the usual stamina management and tactical gameplay that’s defined previous entries. Early footage features in the montage trailer embedded above.

Would be good to have a decent rugby game, most of them are prett rubbish, think i played one on the ps 1 which was ok. Will wait to see how it reviews, might pick it up if its decent.
I can’t get my head around a game where you’re cycling. How the hell does that work? Is it a button mashing affair or simply pressing forward on the thumb stick? I appreciate the sport and the team work needed but it doesn’t strike me as a game that can be entertaining for a gamer
@BusyOlf It's a lot of stamina management and team management. You can basically fast forward big chunks of the races and play the crucial moments.
It's a bit weird but oddly compelling.
Please let a decent Rugby game be released in my lifetime!
