Ad Infinitum looks pretty grim, doesn't it? This survival horror game is heading to PS5 in September 2023 — delayed from the previously announced April release date — and this new footage tells us we're in for a very bleak adventure.
Playing as a young German soldier, the game is split into two worlds. The first has you exploring an eerie old mansion, while the second thrusts you into the trenches of World War 1. Oh, and there are freaky monsters for good measure. It's certainly leaning into psychological horror, with dark themes clearly running through the game.
A passion project built over the course of a decade, the game is finally nearly done. Will you be jumping into this spooky title? Tell us in the comments section below.

The PlayStation 5 for me has been one of the best consoles for horror.
Just hope we get parasite Eve 1 and Dino crisis and I will be happy.
I think I’ll look back on my time with the PlayStation 5 as fondly as I do the PlayStation.
God of war ragnarok was absolutely mind blowing and that was a cross gen title.
So is this original idea what you get if you have two German students watch Jacob's Ladder?
@PegasusActual93 Germans were involved in WW1 and Jacobs Ladder plays post Vietnam. I was talking more about the general themes.
Valiant hearts is a beautiful and educational ww1 game.
I may still check this out in a few years, depends on how fast it drops in price or comes to PS+.
@tameshiyaku I got the reference. Jacob’s ladder is great/creepy movie, definitely see the similarities. Would make for a great plot if it does indeed follow a similar theme…
