It feels as though it's flying a little under the radar, but Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is on the cusp of release. This PS5/PS4 title comes from Team Ninja, the studio behind Nioh, and by all accounts it looks like a rock solid game for fans of Soulslike action RPGs. It arrives on 3rd March — just a couple of days from now — and the full Trophy list is now online.
The list of gongs looks pretty straightforward, although there are a few that sound like they may take a while. Of course there are plenty of Trophies for defeating bosses and progressing through the story, but many appear to be a bit more demanding.
If you want the Platinum, you'll need to reach Level 80, dominate all 46 main and sub battlefields, learn all 70 spells, collect all 31 tablets, and raise a total of 145 Battle Flags. We're not sure what most of those mean, but it looks like this is one of those Trophy lists that wants you to see and do everything.
You can find the full list through the link. Will you be aiming for the Plat in Wo Long? Hack and slash the comments section below.

That boss in his final form is some hard slog
I'm curious if some of them require a 2nd playthrough to accomplish.
I'll be giving it a proper try this weekend.
If I find the game truly satisfying, I'll be going for the Platinum for sure. If not, then no thanks, got other backlog games to finish up.
I have this ordered, but with Hogwarts, 4 titles on PSVR2, Lightfall, and Octopath Traveller II already here, plus RE4, GrimGrimoire, Jedi Survivor, Tears of the Kingdom, Daiblo IV, FF XVI and Baldur's Gate III all coming by September, I'm not sure where Wo Long is going to fit in.
Thinking hard about cancelling it and picking it up later.
I will never "git gud" enough to ever finish any soulslike! I'm useless 😂
@MickOnYourFace you'll get there someday blud 🫡
I'll keep advocating for folks to try Elden Ring, very accessible and you can summon a friend
@Shepherd_Tallon cancel it. by time you get to it, probably be on sale
@Shepherd_Tallon Hey, what games did you go for on VR? I meant to take a look on your profile as were friends to see if we were playing the same VR games. Hope your enjoying it?
Cool.Wo long fallen dynasty is going to be a instant classic.word up son
@Kidfunkadelic83 Hey!
I've been playing four games for it.
The only new games I bought so far were Horizon and Moss. Other than those two I've been playing GT7 and lying to myself about playing RE VIII.
I'm having an absolute blast with it. I've mainly been playing Moss Book II and GT7. Both of them are amazing. GT7 especially was mind-blowing. As experiences in VR go, I don't know how they can get better than that.
They're both excellent VR experiences though. Because of the nature of both games there is no motion sickness for me.
As for some of the issues people have reported online, I've had a near flawless experience.
It's comfortable. The image is sharp when the headset is adjusted correctly. Everything works.
My only issue was when taking it out of the box - If you turn it upside down to slide the inner box out of the outer sleeve, the headset and controllers will tumble right out.
I haven't played much since the weekend due to Hogwarts and Lighfall, but I'll go back next weekend.
Have you gotten in to it yet?
I will wait for it on PS++ 😜
By the end of week 1 release some nutbag will already be New Game +4 and I’ll be sat there trying to work out how many hours they sat playing to get there so quickly.
Was playing the demo, which is just the opening levels.
Strolling along, having fun, since it wasn't like Nioh (a series I'm not good enough to play. Style is like Nioh, but with a forgiving, normal difficulty) and then they threw this one boss guy I could not beat. Over and over, didn't get anywhere, all progress halted.
Graphics are top notch, controlled well, all good up till then.....and they lost a sale with me.
But oh well, I guess they don't care about my money or there wouldn't have been a 1000x spike difficulty in that one guy from the entire game up till then.
I have this pre installed and ready to go on the Series X. That said, I might purchase it for the PS5 simply because I prefer trophies over achievements, and I’ve just been in a PlayStation mood lately.
@burning_as_souls Or, the developers wanted to make the type of game they wanted to make, and didn’t want to cater to every single person? Your comment sounds incredibly entitled. I think they will be just fine without your money.
@Shepherd_Tallon yes im loving it. I originally took the plunge when GT7 was announced but ive only really done a few laps on Spa due to my wheel being set up in a different room to my ps5 at the moment. Ive also got Pistol whip which is fantastic fun, Drums rock which is great fun and really works fantastic, Ragnarock which is pretty cool, Moss which im finding to be a charming little game, Kayak which is beutiful but has made me feel a little ill every time ive played it and Runner and Thumper which ive not really started yet. Overall i was a little disappointed when i first put it on as i was expecting it to be like looking at my LG OLED screen which its not and never will be as crisp but over the past week ive come to appreciate it for what it is and im loving it.
I didn't enjoy the first demo, as I felt it was a little unbalanced, however I felt this way about Nioh and Nioh 2, and when I bought the full games, after a few patches, all felt good.
Will definitely pick this up when I can, because RE4 is looming.
Preload done, just 1Day 7 Hours left from now.
@Kidfunkadelic83 I wanted to try the Kayak game, but if it's causing you to feel ill I might leave it for now.
Project Wingman will be the next big VR game for me. Essentially just living out the Top Gun fantasy. I can't wait for that.
@Shepherd_Tallon yeah its strange as it doesnt cause my friend or wife to feel ill, just me. Defenately getting that one 100%. I will be blasting out Highway to the danger zone as i blow bogies out of the sky 😂😂.
The walking dead looks good too. Been watching some walkthrough on youtube of the oculus version so should be even better on psvr if they add haptics.
@Kidfunkadelic83 Was legit just sitting here in work blasting Highway to the Danger zone since I posted my last reply to you 😂
Ah good shout. The Walking Dead had my attention for sure.
I'm also eager to see what the VR mode in RE4 is going to be like. If it's the full campaign then I'll definitely be delaying my first run.
I am still deciding if I like this game or not based on the demo.
It's a little janky.
Voice acting isn't great.
Graphics aren't great.
It less "looter" than Nioh, which I am happy about. But gear still falls into that "looter" RNG stat trap that drives me nuts.
The combat is pretty satisfying, though.
Thank goodness Game Pass saves me money if I lose interest in it a few hours in.
Got the plat for both Nioh 1 and 2. You bet I'm gonna gun for the plat on this baby, too! 👶
@burning_as_souls I felt the 2nd boss phase was a bit of a joke, but the 2nd level of the demo was considerably easier! I think the real key is that they're trying to plug the necessity of learning when and how to parry- after using it a few times to counter, the boss went down pretty quick.
Otherwise, it's a bit of a dance of using quick attacks (square) to power up your martial arts (r1 + square) and using power attacks (triangle) to lower the enemy stamina bar.
More sekiro, in a way, than souls.
@burning_as_souls Yeah i struggled for hours on him however each fight i was getting better and now i can go back and handle him just fine. Once you get the timing right on the parrying he's not too bad its just you have to be quick and ready to learn these rules way too soon. As a first boss though yeah he's way to tough especially if you aren't good at parrying.
So no challenging trophies, just another checklist of 'go all the places and collect all the things' .
@jrt87 Which is a big relief for me, dislike games that require hard modes or multiple playthroughs to obtain their Platinum trophies.
I just don't have the time, energy, or patience anymore to go thru all of that for a digital trinket anymore.
