Company of Heroes 3: Console Edition finally has a release date and will be storming PS5 beaches on 30th May, marking the series' first console foray. Pre-orders, both physically and digitally, open from 25th April.
The Company of Heroes franchise is beloved by PC strategy fans, with even the first entry in the series (released in 2006) still maintaining a healthy competitive community today. It remains to be seen how well the controls have been translated, as poor implementation will likely hamstring the game from the get-go. Check out the different strategies available to budding commanders here.

Slapping console edition on the title is so goofy. When god of war Raggy rock gets ported to pc its not going to be named God of War: Ragnarok: personal computer edition or any of that nonsense.
@IndoorEnthusiast Slapping console edition is most likely to indicate the massive fundamental design changes that was needed to bring a kb/m game from PC to console.
Why not just make the game require a mouse and keyboard?
I mean it’s not going to sell well anyways. I loved the first one; I was all PC back then for the most part outside of my PS2 and GameCube.
I can’t imagine playing a COH game on a controller.
Mega fan of this series and been playing coh3 on pc since release, probably will be first game I buy a second time on a different console!
@OrtadragoonX ancestors legacy was a RTS copy of COH that came out on PS4 a few years ago and has a medieval setting. It surprisingly plays quite well on console
