CD Projekt Red had already confirmed that it'll be lifting the lid on Phantom Liberty in June. The anticipated expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 has only received a couple of short trailers up until this point, but it sounds like we'll be getting a massive information dump when summer rolls around.
The developer has confirmed that Phantom Liberty will be at Summer Game Fest, and it'll even be playable at the event. As such, we should be getting plenty of gameplay impressions from press and content creators.
What's more, CDPR says it's "planning plenty of hands-on opportunities for our community at a later date", so it's clearly going big for this DLC excursion.

Is this expected this year?
I really enjoyed cyberpunk so looking forward to this. Admittedly I only played it when it was patched for PS5 so didnt have to play through the broken release
@Gamer_Guy Yeah, it's got a vague '2023' release window.
First Horizon Burning Shores now this? Looks like it's a good year for expansions!
Edit:Oh yeah and possibly the Elden Ring expansion too!
When is this bloody police update coming?
Can’t wait for this.
Wasn't that already known? Pretty sure they announced that they'll show something about the DLC in June a few weeks ago
Still need to finish the base game. Im at the end but i haven't cared to do it yet.
I didn't mind this game but gave up on it as FPS are my kryptonite. I would love it if they did a third person mode, then I'd be all over it. I will probably download it again though in the future so it will be nice to play some DLC too, unless it's paid for? In which case, nah.
@tomassi agree, a first person Mode would be great, or even better, psvr2 support. Capcom pulled it off with village after all.
Seen as it's the only expansion they are bringing out I hope its substantial like blood and wine
When is this game going to be finished once-and-for-all? The DLC will inevitably have issues at launch, so we will need to wait even longer for all patches to be released.
Can't bloody wait for this. One last big job for V.
Fun for all the fans. I played the hell out of it when it came out and personally won't have any interest in reinstalling for this but its cool they have kept designing this game.
Thanks for the update! Soon as the DLC releases, I'll start playing the game maybe.
Sounds like they’ve had time to actually finish the game this time. I hope they spruce up the mechanics and systems which were half baked at best at launch, loved the story though, as an action adventure game.
Did Cyberpunk 2077 end up being a good and playable game? The way it launched and the reports of it being a broken mess really turned me off going anywhere near it. Wondering if they’ve successfully turned it around?
@Arnna I played it on PC roughly half a year ago, and it was still pretty broken. Not unplayable, but enough visual / behavioural bugs to make even Bethesda blush. Besides that, it's just not especially well designed on a fundamental level (dull, generic environments and weird NPC behaviour), and really makes me feel like it's Deus Ex with less appeal and charm.
On the other hand, I think it's offered on one of the PS+ tiers...? If that's the case, you could always just test it out on there I suppose.
@Arnna I played the ps5 version and I did not encounter any serious issues. I really liked the atmosphere of the game and would consider it to be good (and would rebuy if there was a VR version) But it does not do anything special game-play wise, and if I remember correctly the AI was not particularly smart.
