Dead Island 2 claws its way onto PS5 and PS4 at the end of the month, on 31st April, and we got a glimpse at the undead action RPG's spoiler-free Trophy list, which is only missing those directly related to story progression.
Coming to us via TrueTrophies, it looks like the list itself is going to require some solid work to get through and will extend that purported 20-hour length by quite a bit. Trophy Hunters will need to complete 40 non-Story Quests, the first tier of every challenge type in the game (Zombie, Weapon, Combat, Survivor, Exploration), as well as tracking down myriad collectables, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
In addition, you're going to need to partner up on a few Trophies, as you will need to complete any five quests with a co-op partner and revive other Slayers at least five times. This shouldn't take too long with a random group, but worth noting for all you lone wolves out there.
Will you be hunting for Dead Island 2's Platinum Trophy? Are you looking forward to the game in general? Let us know in the comments section below.

Well, I was looking forward to it, but forced co-op? I’ll look at this come the bargain bin.
Coop trophies?
That's lack of imagination.
Not buying.
Doubt I'll be getting this yet. If it reviews really good across nearly all reviews then could do. Either way still very much looking forward to it. Still a bit disappointed over FC6 and DL2 day one releases last year. Dead Space remake and Hogwarts still ain't got round to yet and this has been a year for chomping away at the backlog more than usual with Extras excellent recent arrival
i haven't played Dead Island, so i've no idea how good the gameplay is or the game itself, but obviously it's a zombie shooter so how bad can it be really ?!
As long as its public coop thats fine. Not the ubisoft bs where it has to be someone in your friends list. Not everyone buys the same games ubi lol
Since when was there an April 31st
@Bunchesopuppies The co-op trophies aren't even that bad compared to the first game or Riptide.
These co-op trophies are so simple. I don't see any problems with them. Looks like an overall good trophy list for a fun looking game.
hate muliplayer and co-op trophies can understand them on games like cod
What’s so bad about co-op? Some of us do have friends 🤷♂️
Thankfully no difficulty related trophies. As for the co-op trophies, they better have couch co-op as an option.
That way I can just plug in a second controller and do it all by myself.
