HoYoverse released Honkai: Star Rail on PC and smartphones today after much anticipation, and in a press release it’s provided a small update on the PS5 and PS4 versions of the game. Announced earlier in the year, the Chinese juggernaut said that the PlayStation versions are “under development” right now, and “details will be revealed soon”. Obviously there’s not a lot to go on here, but it sounds like we should get an update in the coming months.
Honkai: Star Rail, for those of you who don’t know, is a turnbased gacha RPG from the company behind games like Genshin Impact. Just like in the aforementioned release, you’ll be able to collect and level up an eclectic cast of characters, which you can use to complete quests – this time with a sci-fi theme. The game’s expected to support cross-progression, so you should be able to get started on your PC or smartphone today, before transitioning to PlayStation at a later date.

Hopefully a different kind of "under development" than the Switch version of Genshin Impact...
I've tried the game and the combat and art are absolutely fantastic but it is marred by the gacha characters and same leveling system as Genshin Impact
i cant have both genshin and honkai at the same time. that would be insane. Genshin by itself is a huge timesink.
ill skip, i just cant abandon genshin after so much time
@Samholy Maybe Genshin will eventually have an endgame?
Then you could jump into this one.
@Samholy so far honkai doesn't seem as much as a time sink as genshin. The game feels more "compact". With genshin I'd be running around for an hr or so before doing any main quest. With honkai the main quests are always a few steps away... so far anyway.
