Exoprimal, Capcom's outrageous third-person dinosaur murder simulator, isn't out until 14th July. Still, the combination publisher/developer is going all-in on the outing if the title's recently released content roadmap is anything to go by.
Capcom thanked players for their feedback on last month's open beta session and shared some of the features they can look forward to in the full release, such as:
- Missions without direct combat between players where victory is determined by clearing the PvE objectives as fast as possible
- Cutscenes and an Analysis Map where players can explore Exoprimal's story and the mysteries surrounding Leviathan and parallel worlds
- Story-related missions in Dino Survival
- 10-player co-op missions with a variety of objectives and even fiercer dinosaurs
- A variety of maps like Dam and Volcanic Base
- 5-player missions that rotate weekly with global leaderboards for the fastest completion time
- Equipment called Modules that allow for deeper customization of exosuit capabilities
- Exosuit skins, weapon skins, decals, emotes, and other cosmetic options
- In-game medals and awards for completing certain challenges, like blocking a certain amount of damage as a Tank suit
In addition, Capcom plans to support Exoprimal via title updates post-release to include new Exosuit variants, weapons (such as the Deadeye combination burst rifle/shotgun), seasonal content, and, most fun of all, collaborations with other Capcom titles.
That last part sounds like a green light for a Dino Crisis crossover if we've ever heard one, and you know Leon or Ashley from Resident Evil 4 are liable to make an appearance, considering that game's success.
Are you looking forward to Exoprimal? What other Capcom franchises would you like to see get in on the dino-busting action? Exterminate a previously thought-to-be-extinct species with extreme prejudice in the comments section below.

No. It's still a hard pass on this title.
Dante seems like an easy candidate, or a monster hunter.
I doubt anyone will be playing this on PlayStation
I cant even work out what this game is trying to be. It looks pretty decent but it looks to be suffering more identity crisis than "dino crisis."
Played the beta, and it's surprisingly fun. Like really fun. It's like EDF with dinosaurs crossed with Overwatch. It's so weird, but it works. Looking forward to getting a squad up for this. I hope it does well.
When I first saw footage I thought it looked like absolute garbage, but it's not. It's pretty good actually.
@Constable_What I think many people, myself included, thought it looked real bad when they first showed it.
This is definitely a game that will benefit from gamepass day1 in getting players to give it a chance
UH , MULTIPLAYER PVP ???
Despite the weirdness of the trailers, the beta on PS was a lot of fun, fast action Co-Op / semi PvP, couldn't put it down which I wasn't expecting.
It needs to be f2p though, if it's not I imagine it won't last too long as the premise is a bit weird to get someone to hand over $50.
I played the beta. Was really fun. Then I heard it will be day one on GP. Not worth premium price with others not invested financially at all.
If it was FTP - I’d be on it. Looks like Beta will be as far as I go.
It seems that games that get a GP are making a deal with the devil. It could be a massive hit, but it probably won’t.
Cannon Spike Cammy when?
Cutscenes and an Analysis Map where players can explore Exoprimal's story and the mysteries surrounding Leviathan and parallel worlds
Story-related missions in Dino Survival
So it looks like there will be some sort of story mode? But it's primarily geared towards multiplayer sadly...
I enjoyed my time with it in beta surprisingly the pvpve aspect was pretty engaging and I hate most pvp oriented stuff. But I will most likely pick this up on sale when they introduce more suits.
