PUBG: Battlegrounds is looking to spice up the Battle Royale formula, something it had no small part in popularising in the first place. Dubbed Bizzare Battle Royale, players will be facing off against zombies, gigantic chickens, and who knows what else.
The Bizarre Battle Royale game mode is available now and will run until 10th April, and is apparently the manifest dream of the Lone Survivor, PUBGs protagonist. It's interesting to see the venerable title take a page out of Fortnite's playbook, but hey, you've gotta keep up with the times!

I’m sure that’ll work out well. 🤷♂️
@Impossibilium the game stays in the top 10 most played games on Steam usually hovering around the top 5. It’s doing just fine.
@jmoss Yeah, I kinda figured that.
Despite not hearing anyone talking about it lately, I thought it would still have a dedicated userbase. Or it could just be one of those games that are still popular in Asian countries, while most people in North America have moved on. I just couldn’t help making a snarky joke. 😄
