Sony has launched a new YouTube channel called PlayStation eSports, which, as you might have inferred, will be all about competitive gaming on the platform.
The channel will feature interviews with professional players, highlight reels, and all kinds of exclusive content. It looks like the place to stay up-to-date on PlayStation Tournament news, too, which can include prizes for those worthy enough to make it in the digital arena.
With Sony's stake in EVO, this makes logical sense. Like they say in the corporate world, synergy. Will you be smashing that like and/or subscribe button and dinging that bell? Stay ahead of the curve in the comments section below.

Wonder how many of their live service titles will be eSports focus. Would be a perfect time for a new playstation all stars just saying....
@Americansamurai1 omg that would be soooo cool!!
PS Access isn’t doing so well these days I’ve noticed.
I like PS Access, Rob is funny
@BeerIsAwesome not sure tbh. I’m assuming they are employed by Sony considering the amount of licensing they would need for their videos if not
@Ephexis83 I'm not a big fan of the new format though.
@Ephexis83 Rob read one of my comments a few weeks ago during the Legend of Dragoon live stream and my knees instantly began to shake.
I love that man.
@Mikey856 I watch it pretty regularly and it seems it’s doing what it’s always been doing.
They’ve been growing pretty consistently and even added a by-weekly podcast to the mix.
The only major thing that’s no more is the Friday feature (list video).
They are PlayStation official UK YouTube branch- got bought out like 10 years ago & the OGs are still there (Rob, Nath & Dave).
Sony and Microsoft are really have console wars by selling whatever it takes, keep the AAA stuffs all the time. Not interesting for me.
Me, personally just only care with kids games I can play from both of them.
@RemembersGems
I call it thumb exercise, to annoy the girlfriend.
I mean hey as long as it’s a place that keeps a good eye on keeping the VODs up to date it sounds like a good thing to me.
@Fight_Teza_Fight I’m pretty sure they used to get a lot more views than what they average now. About 33k
@Anti-Matter you only play kids games? How old are you lol
@Mikey856
I'm 38 years old dude.
Am I not allowed to play kids games
?
Every peoples have their own interest.
My biggest interest is on kids games, rhythm games, life sim games, quirky games, niche / unpopular games.
You can check my Instagram account to see my real looking.
@Anti-Matter yeah it’s odd haha
@Anti-Matter I had no clue you were 4 years older than me!
@Mikey856 Nothing wrong with some people not enjoying mature, realistically violent games.
I'm 34 and I still love playing LEGO video games for example, and recently beat two SpongeBob games (Battle for Bikini Bottom and Cosmic Shake).
Though unlike Anti, I do also still play the mature, realistically violent games.
@KidRyan it doesn’t have to be violent either. GT is a mature game and no guns or knives in sight 👍
