Fishing title turned horror nightmare Dredge will be continually updated throughout the year with free content packs and a paid DLC at the end of it. As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, the next few months will see markers be added to the in-game map as well as a Photo Mode and a chilled out Wildlife experience. Later on this year, you'll be able to customise your boat with new flags and colours for the ship.
The most substantial addition, though, will be a paid expansion revolving around the Ironhaven Corporation. "They’re looking to establish an innovative drilling operation in the area to revitalize the towns and populations, but their ultimate goal is unknown," Nadia Thorne of Black Salt Games explains. "As you gather materials to construct new buildings and biomatter to fuel the rig, meet new characters, craft new equipment, and catch new fish, you may uncover the truth behind their potentially nefarious operations."
More information on all four updates will follow in the coming months. Released at the end of March 2023, Dredge has gone on to make a name for itself as one of the most popular indie games of the year so far. These upcoming content packs will keep fans coming back for more fishing — an experience we rated a 7/10 in our Dredge PS5 review. "Despite any rocky waters, though, Dredge's rewarding progression and enjoyable premise keep it afloat."

I've heard nothing but incredibly positive things about this one, so I need to give it a go when I find the time. Nice to see how indie titles like this want to continue to support the game and really drive the value and name of their game and studio.
More boat styles would be nice. A way to kill those baby fish in the volcanic area. Markers would be great for the 3 cultists that starved to death on my play through.
I'll be happy to support this game. I've put it on hold for the pixel remasters, but I've enjoyed what I've seen so far.
Absolutely one of my GOTY contenders.
I will even happily jump back in for more without trophies, and that's praise indeed.
I've really enjoyed the game and have reached the point of no return, so have been mopping up the fishing trophies. I might hold off playing for awhile and enjoy these upcoming updates, as have loved just going around the world.
I loved the game to begin with, but unfortunately the ending really brought it down. There's one cool twist, and it feels like the plot is building up to something, only to go absolutely nowhere and end on a whimper. Such a disappointment. Unfortunately, I probably won't bother with the DLC, as I reckon I'll have sold the game by then.
