Granblue Fantasy: Relink Finally Gets a 2023 Release... Window on PS5, PS4

I'm definitely interested in trying out the game after getting into Versus. It looks super cool and fun

How does this game look worse after 6 years of development? The environments look so empty.

One day we will finally be playing this game, my friends.

@Athrum I think we just got used to better visuals since they announced this right after the end of the Middle Ages 😅

This was one of the games I was hoping to be shown in today's presentation. Too bad the release date is still not specific but I am hoping that they stick with the winter 2023 release

Hopefully it stays in winter 2023 but I'm not holding my breath. Sad that there was no project awakening. I guess they were just hyping up the company's other game lol

@Feena Hahaha. But no seriously, check the first trailer after Platinum dropped the project, think its from 2018, looks waaay better.

This was the one and only highlight of the showcase. With the recent confirmation that FF16 has enormous amounts of F-bombs, sex and gore, Granblue is now the new FF16 for me.

When I bought a PS5 last October, one of the first games I bought (good sale) and played was Tales of Arise, my second Tales game other than Vesperia on 360 years ago. I enjoyed Arise for a while, but the chaotic, computer controlled party members finally put me off.

Unfortunately (for me at least), the combat of GFR looks similarly chaotic. I have been interested in this game, but depends on how it reviews.

@invictus4000 I had heard that FF16 was rated M, and based on your comment, it sounds like it will be too much for my interest. I'm not a prude, but I just don't see the necessity in a video game. SE will make millions on FF16 anyway.

It's more single player oriented with coop option according to them so I'll give this one a try.

I just realised this studio is also the one behind Project Awakening which they showed in a PS4 show.

@KidRyan true and I'm sure it'll be fun once we finally get our hands on it. It'd be something else if FF7 Rebirth manages to stick with the date, who also has a winter 2023 date, and this doesn't lol

Honestly the only thing that’s disappointing about this and FFVII rebirth sharing the same release window is that honestly since it’s WINTER 2023 that could be anything from December this year to March of next. This could be February and FFVII could be January. Can’t get hyped for it this year if it ends up being technically 2024.

So hyped for this. Glad we have more info on probable release time.
