If you want to play Diablo 4 one last time before its release on the 6th June, this is your last chance. The so-called Server Slam — which is basically an open beta — is now live on PS5 and PS4. All you need to do is download the client from the PlayStation Store.
The Server Slam includes the whole first act of Diablo 4, which equates to a sizeable amount of playable content. What's more, all five character classes — Barbarian, Sorcerer, Necromancer, Rogue, and Druid — are available to try. If you didn't take part in the previous betas, then we think it's well worth jumping in to see whether the game's for you.
As the name suggests, the Server Slam should allow Blizzard to get a handle on the technical side of things ahead of the action RPG's full launch in just a few weeks. With that in mind, we wouldn't be surprised if there are some technical hiccups over the testing period — just so you know!
The Server Slam lasts the full weekend, ending on Sunday the 14th May. It should also be noted that your progress in this beta will not carry over to the full release.

Good luck everyone!
gonna try it again on PC
Trashy yet somehow sophisticated...
Mhhhhhmm check please!
@BeerIsAwesome what is commenting become with such negativity?
@BeerIsAwesome i took it more as sarcasm rather than negativity 👍. I'm not playing this as i have the game on pre order and i want to just get stuck in fresh..i cant wait...
@BeerIsAwesome what's the issue? It's a free beta
@Northern_munkey I cant see sarcasm in there. Sarcasm is with opposite meaning.
@BeerIsAwesome your comment is reflective.
And if it is negative, who cares….you can post what you like. It’s certainly within guidelines and rules.
Let’s not pretend that worse hasn’t been written. Here.
@REALAIS i didnt ask but thanks anyway 👍
@REALAIS i find it amusing and ironic that you call somebody out for negative comments yet the majority of your posts are negative and argumentative in tone and structure..give it a rest mate.
I hope two things:
1) Diablo 4 is way better than Diablo 3, which was balls.
2) Microsoft never gets their grubby mits on Blizzard, so I'll never have to worry about them taking away Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo.
@BeerIsAwesome i can see that but i still dont think you should be called out over it..it is your opinion which you are entitled to.
@BeerIsAwesome I'm likely older v than you and been gaming since atari. But again, this is free no pre order required.
@Green-Bandit
They made Heroes of the Storm, which was filled with StarCraft and Warcraft characters. I know it didn't break records or anything, but I liked that game a lot, mostly because of the characters within. It's my second-most played game behind World of Warcraft.
@TheCollector316 World of Warcraft at this moment is legendary. I just don’t want Xbox or Sony to take games away from more gamers and they both do it in their own different ways. Gaming is too big to be locked into a single platform. I ain’t even happy Starfield is only coming to PC/Xbox, should be on PS5 also. I am covered as a 3 console owner, but for those that aren’t by choice or lack of ability shouldn’t miss out on games. I think the future of Cloud and PC would be the best, cause Xbox and PS walled garden would be gone. They would publish to a more wide open appeal and they can make controllers for the platforms and games. This whole one company is less intent to control content is insanely misunderstood. Sorry didn’t meant to rant on your post. 😀
My buddy and me are really enjoying D4. Hope the finish product will have a good longevity. I've been an OG Diablo player from the start. D2 is my favorite. D3 was a huge disappointment. But D4 is hitting me with food vibes.
Tried it earlier after missing previous beta. Kinda meh so far. Maybe I'm just burned out on Diablo.
@Northern_munkey and I haven't asked you to analyse all my latest comments, ironically, you called that comment Sarcastic, which it isn't, and my negativity is aimed to counter it from other users, where you replied/defended to that guy by using context out of my comment which wasn't not nice either. And now you position yourself out of such high morale, pointing out how wrong I am by saying out my opinion which obvious I am NOT entitled to it. Maybe better look at yourself first before you point fingers at me.
@REALAIS you think too highly of yourself. Its a long way to fall from atop your pedestal..i wont click the ignore button on you but feel free to ignore me anytime you desire. Actually balls to it i'm going to ignore you..
@Northern_munkey What are you talking about. You give me reply to say that you will ignore me. High morality circus.
Played it and dismissed it, I won't pay $90 plus taxes for a glorified 1997 game, it was great back in the day... there's no haptic feedback, if I play this with a ps3 controller is the same... I know that many don't care but I like true next gen games at 120Hz mode, VRR, ALL and precise haptics, for me that's 2023 gaming, not glorified games running at 60 fps in your nan's telly because you are a "discerning" player who cannot play at 30 fps... perhaps by December at $20 will be adequate price, pity that my PS3 controller cannot connect to my PS5...
Played it for a bit last night.but think ill just wait for release now as i dont want to go through that 1st area again. also.. TOTK is out.. (no connection between these two things )
@Exerion76 you will require an online connection to play single player...playstation plus sub will be required for co-op online etc..
I tried it last night (EU zone late night) and I got in instantly without any waiting. Unfortunately nothing special. just like Diablo 3 with better graphics. I played about 1,5 hour and that's enough for me.
I tried it yesterday having never played a Diablo game before. Kinda addictive isn’t it …
…in an ‘I’m really not sure why I can’t stop playing this’ kinda way.
