The latest PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters have seen the six-game bundle push past two million copies sold overall. Originally released for PC and smartphones, the collection was updated with some new fonts and boost modes as it arrived on home consoles. Since this is total sales across the Pixel Remaster series, it is not known how well each individual entry sold.
As the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters released, we set out on our own quest to review all six games on PS4. Our findings revealed Final Fantasy VI to still be a classic while Final Fantasy II remains a bit of a dud. Which one has been your favourite? Let us know in the comments below.

I would like a Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest include.
I'd assume that more copies sell on Switch, FF 1-6 seem like the type of games one would rather get on Switch than PS (assuming they have a Switch ofc) because of portability and since they aren't graphically demanding games anyway
I have been playing them. I love the boost mode. You can get through them a lot faster and for me it’s just a lot more fun. I’m on Final Fantasy three as I write this, just been fun to revisit games I used to play and still love. And they got my money again lol.
I just finished FF6. Wondering which i should play next
Just getting my last couple trophies on FF IV…. Dang those elusive pink tails!
I already have the Platinum in FF 1 to 4 and playing 5 at the moment!
Anyone know where I can buy it physically at a reasonable price? It's going for $400-$700 on ebay...
I'm holding off in the desperate hope they release more physical copies.
@JustPlainLoco For a reasonable price? You cant. SE decided to sell a limited amount of copies which were snapped up within minutes.
Might have to give in and give Square one more sale for IV, got some serious nostalgia for playing that on the PSP during my Uni days
@Rmg0731 I'd say 4 or 5, but you're safe with 3-6
Is this a physical count or digital or both?
@JustPlainLoco You need to wait a few months for them to do another run for the price to come down. This is Square Enix so history suggests they will overproduce the physical version of the game eventually.
I'm assuming an actual physical run will come eventually, just a bit of double (treble?) dipping.
A fomo limited physical release, then digital sales, then I'm hoping the actual physical store release comes eventually.
In my experience 1, 4 and 6 are the best ones.
Hopefully they reach 5 million copies before the end of the year!
