Sonic Symphony to Tour the World with Live Renditions of Classic Hedgehog Tunes 1

Whether you're a big fan of Sonic the Hedgehog or not, you're probably familiar with at least one or two of the series' tunes. SEGA's flagship franchise is well known for its (mostly) very good music, and the publisher is doubling down on that with Sonic Symphony, a live concert that's going on a world tour starting later this year.

Originating as a special show for the hedgehog's 30th anniversary, Sonic Symphony is now being taken around the world. So far, only two dates and venues have been announced, but more will follow as the tour continues into 2024. Tickets go on sale very soon for the following:

  • 16th September, 2023 — Barbican Hall, London, UK
  • 30th September, 2023 — Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, California, USA

The show brings fans a medley of Sonic music, going all the way back to his roots with orchestral arrangements of retro classics before transitioning to a rock band for the character's more modern hits. The game from which each track is taken is displayed on large screens behind the musicians, so you'll get a huge dose of nostalgia too.
