NIS America has revealed the release date for upcoming action RPG The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails. It's coming to PS4 on the 19th September in North America, and the 22nd September in Europe.
For those totally out of the loop, The Legend of Nayuta was originally a 2012 PSP title that was never released outside of Japan. Developed by Falcom, it's something of a Trails spin-off, complete with action gameplay that's similar to what you'll find in the Ys series.
Of course, 2023 has already been very good to Western Trails fans. The fantastic Trails to Azure dropped back in March, and the highly anticipated Trails into Reverie is out in July. And while Nayuta isn't specifically tied to the ongoing Trails narrative, it still places a heavy focus on characters and story, to a point where we're sure Trails players will find something to enjoy.

Forgot this was coming West too. Played the PSP patch a couple years back and yep, basically a middle ground between Trails and Ys.
I'm interested in this for sure. I could see it bringing me over to trying YS if it clicks with me.
As an Ys fan, and as someone who doesn't necessarily want to play ten hundred-hour JRPGs before jumping into an entry I'm interested in, this is definitely on my radar.
I love Kiseki, so I will certainly be picking this up!
